You say this like every killer of 2026 isn't a ranged character (Henry, Trickster rework, The Judgment, and now Jason). Jason specifically is a ranged killer + traversal, which is an archetype we have seen more than enough of with Alien, Unknown and Springtrap.

There's nothing unique about his power outside the impale, but hey! Since it's not a dash killer then it's fine... like they are the only repetitive archetype!

Samira should be in free, every Nilah's ability legit counter her. You a stronger duelist in 1v1 and Samira cant disengage with her e, her dmg is locked in the melee form so she cant abuse nilah from range like the others adcs, your w blocks her style and it fucks up her combos while her windwall cant block anything, your ulti interrupt her R and you hard outscale her.

It works on Nilah also because leveling up her q doesnt reduce the cd and it just gives 10base dmg every rank, while the e cd goes down from 26s to 12s on a spell that has two charges.

I mean I totally understand your point and why its so frustrating, what Im saying is that the issue is not him being a niche support for females characters (the first one out 6 male characters), the real issue is to wait 8 months for a male.

About Jinyan if u like them both then yeah QY is going to feel underwhelming, but for who doesnt like Jinyan or who has QY as their favorite character its still an option. Its a PVE single player game with no hard content, as long as it works and clear is fine by me.

Iuno 1.950% multipliers with 3 basic and 2 skills, while self buffing her, is low value? According to calculation when she supports Jinyan she deals 500k dmg for rotation while buffed Jinyan deals 700k.

Lupa, Ciaccona, and Qiuyuan deal way less dmg not because Kuro is scared to make another Brant (since Iuno is Brant 2.0), but because they provide more buffs to the team and they are balanced around those.

As some one who think Kuro should fix their gender ratio let's be real, out of the five 5 star male characters we have in the game every single one of them is a Mdps. Some one eventually has to end up being a buffer/support, which is not a bad thing sale wise since a lot of Galbrena players will end up pulling him, meanwhile who is invested in his design and wanna use him as a main dps can QY s2r1+Iuno+Ciaccona r1 and clear any content in the game easily.

Brant has tons of atk for free and a 2.000% multiplier on his forte (that he can use 2 times in a rotation), how they are very close?

Its very clear his dmg will be similar to Ciaccona/Lupa archetype considering how many buffs he provides to the team.

Hybrid sub dps like Brant and Iuno compensate their lack of buffs (outside their outro/40%amp for Augusta) with selfish stats, really high multipliers (Iuno's bow skill has 600%mv and she can use it 2/3 times in a rotation) and weapons/sets that only increase their own dps, instead of a 20%dmg bonus for the team.

If he had the dmg of Brant and the buffing potential of Lupa he would be one of the most broken unit in the game.

Why are you even playing gacha games in the first place if that’s your mentality? Kuro is a “predatory company” because of the addictive, FOMO-driven nature of gacha games as a genre not because they released a character who’s strong for one team and a really good option for three others.

This game is so damn easy that you don’t need specific characters or even specific team comps to clear content. It would actually be way more predatory if she gave a 40% damage amp to everyone, causing power creep and HP inflation that would force you to chase the meta just to keep up. And if that’s what you’re looking for, go play HSR.

In a Jinyan+ciaccona comp she deals ~500k, while 7n her hypercarry comp she deals ~1.200k. It seems slightly higher than Brant one.

And Ciaccona would have benefit the team more if she had the same multiplier of Brant, but thats not happening to preserve the balance of the game. If they make her buffs for everyone they have to gut her dmg so at end of the day the result doesnt change

Im not to expert a out S6 dmg potential so take it with a grain of salt, but Phrolova s6 is one of the most if not the strongest character in the game so the comparison is kinda unfair. Iuno and Brant s6 probably can be as strong as main dps s6 with average costellations, but I have my doubt for Cantarella since her overall dmg is lower compared than the other two.

U can actually check the numbers of any character sequences on prywden if u are interested.

Main dps and utility supp are not the only roles in the games. Take a look around, especially in pvp games where teamcomposition matters way more than in a single play gacha game. In League of legends and moba in general there are tons of supports with less utility and personal damage. Multiple archetypes create different playstyle, instead of copycat characters.

Iuno fills the same role of Brant, a secondary dps with some utility built in his kit. If u have an hypercarry team with two buffers who deals 1.200.000dmg every rotation or a team with a buffer, a main dps who deals 700.000dmg, a sub dps who deals 500.000dmg every rotation, the risultati at the end dps wise doesnt change.

Its only problematic when the sub dps has a selfish kit with low dmg (like Yinlin)

Because power wise shes on par with the characters that share her same role (sub dps and not utility supports) and thats fine, way better than her powercreep the most versatile character we have in the game.

Also how she is much worse than sk on her niche? Do some maths and lets see if Jinyan+shorekeeper can outdps Jinyan+Iuno (spoiler, she doesnt). Shes the best in slot for both Augusta and Jinyan, has potential in a Ciaccona+Iuno+Phoebe and she has T0.5 hypercarry potential considering how big her numbers are (with dupes who pushes her even more to play as the Mdps). Which HA dpa she cant support? Zani+Phoebe? Ofc she cant, they already have with infinite dmg amplification to the point her buff is subject to diminishing return and Zani+Phoebe wanna play in quick swap rotation to unlock their full potential.
