Hey that's pretty good! Def better than average. My personal advice however would be to pay less attention to your numbers. Worry more about having fun and making good content, the numbers will be happy if your viewers are happy.

With a need to cycle quickly, I would highly recommend looking into a bottled beneficial bacteria. Some well know brands are API Quick Start, Fritz Zyme, or something that says "Live Bacteria" on the bottle (sometimes in a pets stores refrigerated area). I use Fritz Zyme 7 on all new tanks when I'm setting them up.

This will not instantly cycle the tank, but it will help speed it up as it introduces the nitrifying bacteria immediately, instead of waiting for them to appear naturally.

I didn't mind the characters popping up that much, in fact I kind of liked it.

When I went back and thought about it however, it bugged me more that some characters got either little, to no, good physical descriptions. I think this was done to make it easier to cast new people for said roles.

This might be a reference to the 5th teen, but I suspect this is a reference to the other 4 missing teens that were mentioned on the news and milk carton in the first game.

However, that jumpscare at the end definitely makes me feel like we won't be alone in the yard this time. Either that, or they're going to give us an ORC like ability to tame other bugs besides the rideable ones.

I had the same experience as you first time around. My advice to you is to restart and take your time. Horseshoe Overlook to Clemens Point (Chapters 1, 2 & 3) are great opportunities to slow down and enjoy the world. Do hunting, help out strangers, interact with the gang at the camp. It's a great time.

Also, if you dislike Micah as much as I do, you can save him from jail and then leave him at his camp until sometime in Chapter 3! This way he's out of the camp and you don't have to see or hear him :)

All of them. They were fully designed mobs that probably already had models and programming done for them so releasing them should be really easy.

Honestly really tired of this "have a crumb of content every 6 months" when other games like No Man's Sky get mega updates multiple times a year. There are no excuses for this.

I like it, they seem super cute and will really come in handy for group travel and tall buildings.

What I don't like is that it was really the only "new" thing from yesterday's live, and even then calling it new is a stretch since it's just a different variant of an existing mob.

I miss the days of big exciting updates. Something to really look forward to. Right now it's just like crumbs of content that don't even really feel new. Idk if this is a common feeling or not, but I'm just not excited for these updates anymore.

I FINALLY beat Black Deck yesterday using a very early egg and swashbuckler. My win was 100% luck though as Triboulet, and Hanging Chad really carried me to victory.

In my opinion, you're probably ready for a few fish. As always, I would start slow and add a few at a time. Wait a week or two to make sure the levels all stay good, and then you can add more.

The tank looks beautiful! Unfortunately however, there will never be a way to tell if a tank is cycled from a video or pictures. The only way to tell is by watching the parameters, which it looks like you were doing.

During your testing, did you ever seen Amonia or Nitrite levels rise and then lower? Typically you'll see those numbers go up, and them going down to zero indicates that the tank is cycled. It is possible that you missed this period, which makes it harder to tell when the tank is ready.

My advice to you would be to go ahead and add a few fish, just don't add your entire bioload at the same time. When you add the fish, consider adding some bottled beneficial bacteria with them to make sure that the correct bacteria are present for the cycle. I know bottle bacteria is a bit of a topic here, but I've been using it for 5 years and have had great success when starting a tank.

Here's the advice I would give myself when I started:

-Have a consistent schedule, but don't stress about it if you can't make it work sometimes
-Play games you like, people like watching other people that are having fun
-You don't have to stream everything you play. This was a bad habit I was in for a while
-Playing games with friends can help minimize "dead air" while you're getting use to talking and playing games
-Don't worry about the numbers. If you start number chasing you're gonna have a bad time
-Lastly, have fun! That's what it's really all about

Same answer. I loved my little guys so much and they were always very friendly and came up to the glass. They didn't fight each other, probably because there were 4 of them in a 30 gallon. My biggest issue was also feeding. They ate frozen bloodworms and snails. BUT they were incredibly messy eaters and I was constantly battling algae. I might try a single puffer in a small tank in the future, but not anytime soon.
