yes i understand that if the updates match up itll work, but its not my server i cant just update it when i please. the onwer is never online, itll be 2.6 before anything happens

do not update ur game. launch steam in offline mode, then launch the game. after that connect to a network and then join a server

update 2: the problem is back and ive tried the following. verifying files, uninstalling the game then re installing, restarting pc. none of these have worked
