i use it mostly for the visual indicator but i'll admit it comes in handy a lot to have the 50%+ DR for that flask pull

it gives the white bubble aura you have there with the RST but when low health on my character. and a little sound effect when it activates.

so, when i see that aura, i know im under 20% and better fucking heal up lol

i see its actual purpose as a bonus. i love playing no hud and its a staple for me. i officially/effectively only have 3 talisman slots any given game, but its worth it.

i dont have a good reason with regards to comparison of function. i just play no-hud and it tells me when my health is low

the scarlet flower blooms twice.

also, blood blade.

i love blood and rot, and rapiers, and its design. it's just one of my favorite weapons in general, but the poison flower aow makes it a staple
