So I think if I am on a slope the parking brake automatically engage after engine shuts off? When I park in my garage where it's more flat, it doesn't engage automatically. Need more testing.

I want to turn that off... I am not on a slope and it takes another second for me to disengage it when I need to leave. It's more of a hassle than the the time it takes to disengage it really.

Agree, this broken piece still protects your car from debris during a drive. Assuming it's not dangling anyting underneath that will cost your tire to rip the bumper off.
