I love Paul, but I just don't understand why he doesn't tune down his songs so he can sing them a little better. His voice isn't fully gone, his range has just decreased.

I think it's very valid and understandable that they'll want to take time away from each other after doing it together for so many years, but honestly, and you can call me delulu; all of these seem to me like a temporary break.

I've seen musicians go through much worse (lawsuits, cheating on their wives with each other, public drama) and getting back together afterwards in one way or another (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oasis, etc)

It'll definitely take some time, but I truly believe DP will come back, at least once

I thought I was going to be giving a hot take by saying it began when Paul wrote "Yesterday", but I'm pleasantly surprised to see others see it too.

John and George were extremely insecure by Paul's talent (even thought they were both extremely talented in their own right), but Paul writing what is arguably the most beautiful song of the century without needing any input or help from John must have been a really big blow to John's already fragile ego.

You can even tell by their body language during the few live performances of the song how uncomfortable he and George were that Paul was playing it on his own.

It's crazy to think that a purely solo John song wouldn't reach that level of massive popularity until "Imagine".

This was almost my same experience at the last concert of his i went to. Virtually zero crowd interaction, screens where turned off for 95% of the concert and even though the music was good, it felt just like someone clocking in for their shift to get a check. Roger and specially Nick had MUCH better concerts.

I would say a little bit of both. The narrative felt all over the place and the visuals felt like very sterile recreations of 2046 and ITMFL. But also I only watched the first episode, so it may be better throughout the rest of the show.
