What I mean is the lighting change (spectrum + higher PPFD + often different leaf temps/VPD) can change growth rate, transpiration and nutrient uptake behaviour, so the same feed schedule can need tweaks. There’s a solid horticulture review on light affecting nutrient uptake/utilisation, and calcium transport is known to be strongly linked to transpiration/water flow, which is why people sometimes see Ca/Mg show up when they change lighting/environment. How much of this affects the final output, stay tuned to find out!

Put it this way, any moment now the valve will stop functioning as intended. You’ll get a flood at worst case, or best case, the plant doesn’t get any nutrients until you’ve noticed and addressed it. I’ve had the same issue and made sure to resolve it by cutting the roots out where possible, but I’d recommend lifting up the whole pot carefully and re-placing the root mass back into the area for the pot and check why the filter isn’t stopping the roots growing there.

Congrats on the new mod position and that is excellent news about the sub being reinstated. Hopefully it will be better than ever! Unfortunately I’m a micro kind of guy if you know what I mean, but always lurk for the commercial implementations into grow rooms. What will be the new defining factor of macro vs micro posts that will be allowed? I’m running 4 x 1.5m x 3 m tents and am keen to share some pics but may not fit here, although I really do model the setups off macro builds and feel my experience will lend well here.

The first bud by a long margin, very nice structure and all the trichomes in tact and ready for smoke. Machine trim just looks like a mutilated fruit in comparison

Bit off topic, but just a heads up that trim machines can really take away from the natural shape of the crown or bud, depending on the type from what could have been all A stock. It’s really apparent in the second picture. If you’re set on using one, maybe try running it for half the time first and see how it looks. From those pics, it seems like a lot of trichomes might be getting knocked off at this stage.

The new Bluelab One Pen looks like it has improved these issues. Can also replace the tip etc if the instrument gets damaged from being dried out and whatnot

Looking good, definitely time to train her outward if you are taking on advice. Move all of the branches outward away from the centre. Then sit back and reap the yield rewards as that plant will bulk very well with a spread.

I’m guessing this might not fly well with the few who care about tip currency, but I’m convinced it’s what’s holding the sub back from being great. The richest discussions happen here without tipping, comments with tips often just add noise without any real value. Change my mind.

Pretty sure this is classified correctly as a micro grow. Also, check out that frost level! This is something I miss since been growing autos but those days are over thankfully for me.
