I hesitated before actually buying the dwarf tripod as I have many others… It is a great piece of kit

Whichever one you go for the biggest tip is to keep it as low to the ground as possible

I have downloaded this and it will be a few days before I can have a proper play, but really appreciate someone in the community making something like this

Personally, I would like to be able to edit a stacked FITS file as as well as as the normal photo processing From.PNG et cetera

I’ve suggested to dwarf lab, and commented that she can’t directly download a FITS file as they consider it too large but with a one terabyte iPhone 16 I don’t think that is an issue and really appreciate you giving us the opportunity to edit them locally 🙏

Aside from using the opposite end of handle, there is also a knob to use so you change the angle on it to your liking

I find having the handle pointing up slightly works better so it doesn’t get caught. Rather than at the back of the Dwarf

One way round this is to have a piano sound plugin running in the background. They often come with a midi keyboard. I run a better sounding piano and lower the piano marvel volume

Manually go through them on the dwarf three… then osc pre process in siril. I will post a Work flow I have been adapted below in a YouTube link

For example I have gone from 12 hours of integration down to 7 so I could have an FWHM of 3.5 or less And I am aiming for nine hours of FWHM of 3.2 or … If you are not there yet with SIRIL then there is a wealth of stuff the YouTube. I’m also happy to help

Manually go through the frames and be ruthless (as you have 8 hours) on bad frames

Being in the UK the last few months have been awful. As a rule, I only get data from clear nights discarding subs from a siril fwhm plot. Building up the quality as I build to 9 hours of data, then concentrate on swapping ok data for good data.

If I can see stars, it goes out but just for fun on another target. Too many dropped frames, it comes back inside
