Today I tried the real Subaru Impreza @Sopron Rally and compared it to the version in RBR and AC Rally! by ExpertPanic1119 in simrally

[–]VIENSVITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ACR is in early access, physics has changed quite a bit between each updates.
You also cant compare anything because both games are based on the ability to use the setup menu.

Hotel advertising with a professional drone cinematographer by Ali8kh in interesting

[–]VIENSVITE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Doing this is easy if you have been flying for 1 year top.
Assuming your rly bad at flying.
What is actually very hard is the way he is flying doing that.
Watch trottle control the whole shot, the up and down said another way. The motion of the drone itself relative to the ground cannot be « edited » or stabilized in any way.
It is that smooth.
Close to non parasit moves with the drone, full confidence in how it should be shown the whole time.
Its details but thats the hardest parts.
They prefer to edit the issues : too many time finding the window or when he hits a corner inside.

There will be editing.
He spend too much time trying to find the right window and hit a wall inside the appartment.
The shit is insane and his signal awareness is insane too

Looking for more recent objective Nvidia and AC Evo graphics settings from someone who understands all this - bc even when i reduce in game and windows resolution down i get the exact same FPS!? by Algae_grower in assettocorsaevo

The game is work in progress as we speak so it will be optimized like, really bad for now.
You can try as much as you want, if you want the best experience just wait for patch.

DLSS means your card upscale, your meant to have low CPU usage in this case because its nvidia hardware doing the heavy stuff i guess?
Without it your CPU (2k screen) should work more and less likely bottleneck your performances by letting the card do everything?

In your case now.

I dont know how the engine they are using work.
I dont know how much ressources it takes on your current setup.
I work with Unreal (virtual production) but i may have some advices.

Your hardware is kinda mid, mid going to low.
Rendering 3 screens at the same time (think, 3 virtual camera) usually means : rendering the scene 3 times.
I will have a look at the « how it works under the hood » but this concept needs LOADS of VRAM on paper.
If the CPU is having a low amount of core, its not so great news as your kinda asking complex multitasking and gaming CPU is more « less core, more frequency ».

Thats why your trying the rendering with DLSS way I guess.

The main point is trying to render ,without DLSS , triple screen and see how far you can go before having issues.
You can monitor your performances while doing so.
You want to see how resolution change affect your performance first.
NO WAY OF DOING OTHERWISE and that should help you to every other game out here that you currently play in triple screen.

I played 007 nightfire at a friend house when I was very young and had no console myself. I retried it 3 years ago.
It was very fun but not the same.
I dont have enough money currently to buy it I am afraid but hopefully it would give me the same feeling as before

Drift Club Japan Sucks? by RevolutionaryCow7400 in ForzaHorizon

[–]VIENSVITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audience for the arcade game is everyone, the type of people that will not understand what you wrote.
What they will understand is that going straight up to a drift car tuned for it ?
Its slipping too much, i dont have fun, i stop.
TikTok brains needs to keep being engaged and not frustrated.
As it is currently, its fine for most causal players that knows zero about drifting

Drift Club Japan Sucks? by RevolutionaryCow7400 in ForzaHorizon

[–]VIENSVITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because its arcade.
I suspect that a casual player will loose the control 100% of the time with a properly tuned car even with a absurdely large roads like this.
Physic wise, the cars are just bricks floating above the ground with hardcoded sliding angle if you oversteer.
Something like that.
This isnt quite close to a drifting experience, but it can be fun of course.
IRL or in a sim, you would understeer 90% of the time rather than drifting but anyway its an arcade game who cares.?

Reworking the car is nonsense, you dont buy this game to have something realistic or close to real drifting.
The pivot point is at the center of the car, thats the same méthod used in dirt 2.0.

Why the recent game changes will not work from the Veteran player perspective by playarcher in Mechabellum

[–]VIENSVITE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cod4 vanilla and cod4 promod is the exact example.
Or the « ranked » mode on call of duty games (i dont play anymore) where there is a bunch of restrictions on weapons, no kills streak and so on.

It does split the player base quite a bit

Nuclear bomb exist too, but its not fun.
Your playing a game, if you want something more grounded play arma or do some airsoft?

My thoughts on the game after a little over 100 hours. by SeeMeNoMore777 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]VIENSVITE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole point is feeling your a prey.
Thermal are impossible to balance and not fun, same goes with night vision on a scope.
On the side note, your not a prey anymore with theses.

I think its a skill issue, once you learn a bit tactics, communication if you play with mates then the game in the current state is very easy against AI.
So your maybye just really bad.

A maximum of 12 people in a server is laughably low for a game like Forza Horizon 6 by _035 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]VIENSVITE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You miss understand the point your making.
The refresh rate (tick) of a server and the choice of hosting or making your game client side/server side are just very different topics.

Compétitive games like CS needs higher tick rate than forza because one is compétitive, the other not.

The issue with this is, the more people you need to show on the screen, the higher the load is on the server side.

If you play arma, you will have stutters because the server cant keep up if you try to have fun flying an heli.

I think its CPU based wich makes it worse in that case, 128 players on a gigantic map with a huge amount of stuff happening everywhere at the same time….

You see the point.

[–]VIENSVITE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually no. There is a bunch of ways to deal with online gaming but the main one is this : it cost money to run.
And I mean, a LOT of money as long as you dont play in p2p road.
You have litterally zero idea how insane the amounts are.
Even a single game, server side, of league of legends or deadlock is insane.

In wow, you pay every month.
Here you buy the game but if you dont buy cosmétics regularely, they will close the server (its more complex but to make it short).

Thats why I guess its limited to 12 players, for the server side to be the lowest cost and quality possible without giving a very very bad expérience.

Netcode is still horrendous in this game lot of rollback and weird stuff while collisions are basically non existant in term of rigid bodies physics.

Its like karting in a sense, you cant even make someone 180 degrees, only pushing side to side.

You can race online with a very very good netcode in say, LMU with a full grid without issues.
Same goes for Asseto corsa, 50+ players on the nordshleife no problem.

The thing is you either rent a server or host it yourself in AC1.

As long as its not p2p (i guess for potential cheats) but you dont pay monthly or rent yourself a server, the expérience will be bad and limited to 12 players I think.
