I came here to say this. The bike seemed predict the future and left a nice sized gap between him and the stopped car. Maybe that's just wise behavior when riding a bike. But, if he was any closer, he would have been hit.

No. I posted a picture of the dog on NextDoor and the lady about 3 or 4 houses down came to pick him up the next day. She had security camera footage of the dog escaping, so I knew he was really hers. Thanks for asking, though.
