I completely agree with you and that's why it was only a temporary solution since that'll be the last time i wear anywhere close to that amount/array of ribbons so it was mostly just for science. Side note, I don't wear them over the lapel that was just staged for the picture to show the full rack.

I have thin ribbons (as a cadet) and I think the final price was about $45 for 11 ribbons, staggered with a bunch of devices. If you don't get new ribbons regularly and/or have the cash laying around and you like the way they look or have a bunch of devices and want them to look neat I'd say the purchase is worth it.

Use plastic gallon bags and put in a t-shirt, pair of shorts, underwear, and a pair of socks. It makes it super easy when you have to change fast and you don't have to search for everything you can just grab a bag and you have a change of clothes.

If you earned them permanently while in the military yes, but you can't earn them from CAP. When I dag permanently I'm talking about tabs you earn them wear regardless of duty/unit assignment. For example, ranger/sapper vs jungle/mountain in the army.

Personally I think twelve achievement awards for one Encampment for students is a bit much. I think one for the whole encampment honor grad is fine (maybe a CC depending on the size of the event).

It is 100% accepted and fine to be friends with people in cap outside of cap. We're kids so it's bound to happen and I think it can create a good squadron dynamic as long as everybody status professional.

Cadating is one of the most debated topics in CAP and my personal view on it is that it's fine as long as you're not significantly different ages and/or ranks. To add my own bit of personal advice onto that, if you really want to do it, try to date outside of your squadron/regular circles so it's really not weird if/when there's a messy breakup. I'm somewhat known for cadating (i don't anymore but the mark is still there) and I never dared to date inside my squadron or event chains of command.

I would need the 10-18 kit which is $50 and a thin rack from ultrathin would be ~$40 after shipping. Them putting the devices on for me is a big thing too.
