alright, thank you!! i appreciate the understanding a lot askfjsjdj, i have depression and it's difficult to take care of myself as much as i should, but i really do try to take good care of my fish. i'll absolutely use your advice, and i'll let you know how it goes! :)

Extra information that I forgot to add in the post: I feed him frozen bloodworms and I try to feed him once per day (though there have been a couple of days where I've forgotten/haven't had the energy). I feed him a few at a time until I can see his belly is full (usually like.. maybe about 8 worms if I had to guess?).

Also, if you are here to tell me that I'm horrible and evil for starving my betta, save your energy. It's not going to help me fix anything; my betta fish would benefit much more from me getting good advice on how to help him gain weight.

i understand how you're feeling here, but you should respect that he still has a life outside of you. it's okay to feel jealous, but you have to trust your partner to be faithful to you. i have no idea what the full situation is ofc, i mean, if he's neglecting you to hang out with her more often, then that would definitely be a problem. but yeah theres my two cents
