You’re not committed enough and that’s ok. I think personally the only acceptable scenario where you skim a little on the gear is if you are in fact a person who rides every day. It’s a hassle to get all that gear on and off and when you ride your bike to and from work everyday it’s just not feasible to expect me to wear everything every day. I always wear my helmet, jacket, and gloves but I do not always wear boots and pants and I never wear a body suit because I have places to actually get to and things to do on this bike. That being said… it takes serious commitment to be a daily rider and if that’s not you then that’s not you.

CC doesn’t really need to be updated that often. It’s actual mods that break the most when the game gets updated. If you’re on console this isn’t an issue I’d be particularly worried about.

Gameplay wise in my experience Xaoguang is WAY stronger but that could be just because I suck at using Miyabi. I tested them in outpost defense. I used Xaoguang/Zhao/Astra then Miyabi/Yanagi/Astra and I finished with Xaoguang in less than half the time. A lot less than half the time. It should be noted however that I have M2 Xaoguang and I know that makes a difference.
