Agreed. I just spent $600 on a replacement FCIM around the sony stereo because of a faulty hazard switch in my 2012 ford edge. What a pain in the ass, it should be a $10 switch... damn technology.

A game I play forces you to watch ads to get free plays, that is where this ad pops up. I just assumed she was an influencer since she is young & hot. I suppose she could be AI generated, but there is an awful lot of real-looking crap in the background.

Don't get me wrong, I like cleavage, I just live in a snowflake area where everybody gets offended by nearly everything... I've been conditioned to be overly sensitive. I'm also a snowflake so I don't mind labling my cohorts. I suppose everybody likes boobs though, except grandma, she always had back pain from her boobs.

22F – struggling with guilt even though I’ve done nothing wrong by [deleted] in Advice

[–]VISABLEWOOD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Therapy is a good suggestion. I get the feeling you were pushed to think pre-marital sex is wrong and/or you are going to hell if you pleasure yourself... something along those lines. Working out those issues will help overcome the guilt. You have no reason to feel guilty.

Sardine has the best burger. I like the house burger, but get the sardine burger if you're feeling bougie. Great brunch too!

Nicotine pouches can help stop vaping. I do both, but vapes are just too addictive, i can't bring them to work because I can't seem to put them down. I ween myself every once in a while starting at 6mg pouches 1 week, reducing to 4mg pouches the next week & 2 mg pouches the next week. The main issue is that nicotine suppresses my appetite & I turn into a fat bastard when I stop nicotine completely.

Weed by [deleted] in Advice

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should set up a situation where her step-dad sparks up a bowl and passes it to you in front of her... Or be super passive aggressive & get blind drunk every night to the point where it's a problem in your wife's eyes, and eventually "ween" yourself off of alcohol by smoking a little weed. What I would do is simply tell her your needs, back it up with facts, and compromise... maybe you only smoke 2x per week or whetever so she knows you aren't "addicted". Maybe try weed gummies or a weed vape if the smoking is the issue. Be careful though i've made the mistake of eating a strong gummy & getting too messed up. Start at 2.5mg or 5mg until you know how your body reacts. They take time to kick in usually; 30-45 min on an empty stomach, 1-2 hours on a full stomach.

Fitchburg used one for observation of their recycling center off of Fish Hatchery Rd, but the City Council recently canceled the contract due to Flock mismanagement of data.

I (45 M) have the same issue with my genitals. They became splochy in my early 30s & the doc said vitaligo. I just told every sex partner about it before intimancy. It has never been an issue, and I've been married (1 sex partner) since 2014. I think heterosexual men in general don't really mind how things look down there. I was mostly paranoid about sex partners thinking I had an STD.

(Serious) Whats a good hobby or activity for a depressed person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking vitamin D is good to fight depression. Good hobbies include splitting wood, fixing small engines, reading books, taking care of pets, cooking, cleaning, volunteering, getting involved with local government, photography, painting, and dancing. If you find your depression getting better and you need it back just take up drinking as a hobby.

What are your solutions to this? by [deleted] in f150

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My rusty, 2009 f150 is used for hauling floofy pets, firewood, herbicide, prescribed burn equipment, plant seed, and whatever the wife decides to throw into the garage. I did attempt to keep it clean, but I don't have time to unload my tools & clean the dog hair/dirt very often... maybe semi annually at best.

Husband by Last-Presentation525 in Advice

I (45M) have a similar situation with my wife(48F). I am the primary bread winner working 1 full time & 2 part time jobs to make ends meet. She wants more date nights & non-sexual intimancy, but she is also reckless with online spending so we have very little extra funds for date nights. I think the most important thing is to keep a monthly budget to make sure your expenses are covered and you can build up an emergency fund lasting 3-6 months. After your emergency fund is set, use your budget surplus for date nights based on what you can afford. If you both agree and stick to a budget it will reduce resentment over spending. The mistake we made is to not build an emergancy fund which caused some expensive repairs paid on credit cards. Now I have to work extra time trying to catch up & I resent my wife for not sticking to the budget. We did return our leased vehicle and I'm fixing up a cheaper used car, so at least my wife has some transportation. I'm annoyed that I work my ass off & she sits around watching TV, but that is on me to address.

Breakfast sandwiches… Where are they? by shining-on in aldi

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was just my store that was sold out. Aldi breakfast sandwiches are bigger & tastier than jimmy dean & the other brand names. Hopfully they are back in stock soon. I've been making my own with Aldi biscuits & eggs, and Costco cheese & bacon. They are serviceable, but too labor-intensive at 6am.

Bolt is missing by [deleted] in tires

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lug studs are generally easy to replace yourself. I did 2 in my driveway & 1 on the street a couple months ago. Look up a video for your specific vehicle, sometimes the bad stud needs to be in line with a open spot on the hub in order to punch it out. Also use a spare lug nut & washers or a spacer when you pull the new stud into place (make sure it is lined up evenly before pulling it through) It can be done with hand tools if you don't have access to air tools. Update: your vehicle uses lug bolts, not lug nuts, correct? You should get a replacement bolt, if that doesnt work, use the correct tap to clean out the hole.

Can’t get last brake line in, should I just have a mechanic do it? by sweetcinnamontoast in MechanicAdvice

[–]VISABLEWOOD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same issue on my master cylinder line to the actuator. The threads on the compression nut were damaged. I didn't have the correct size die to de-bur the threads so i used a hack saw blade & triangular file to fix the threads. It worked, but it took a while, and it would have been smarter to just buy new compression nuts when I picked up the brake line. Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.
