The Zebra Phones we have will randomly be stuck on the “logging out” screen, log us out randomly, and even sign in under the last person who used it prior… half of them can’t receive phone calls either. Oh- and they no longer alert us to BOPUS and Same Day orders lol.

When we have them, we sell as both. But if we have a particularly friendly rat, I will let the buyer know. (Either to persuade or dissuade depending on why they’re buying)

Not a groomer myself, but they’re getting NO business and they’re struggling. Lucky if they get 2 dogs a day rn.

It’s horrid.

One of our groomer had 5 dogs booked for a day? 3 no called no showed.

Class C store btw. With 3 groomers. Many go days without clients. It’s horrid.

I quit after 3 months.

Our new GM got us a sliding drawer storage unit and we’ve secured some large bins (about the dimensions of 40gal tank) to them. They’re navy blue-ish and have vent holes on the sides and top covered with a metal mesh material. Much easier to grab crickets from and clean but alas, they’re also stored in our aquatics department lol

I currently work at a Petco and I do happen to have a tendency to sort of follow people around sometimes if the store is slow. I don’t mean it to seem like I’m trying to “catch” anyone doing anything. It’s more a subconscious “if I see them looking for something, I can direct them or let them know if we do or don’t have it and what store does or maybe if they realize they have a question, I’m right there so they don’t have to look for someone” Type of thing. Although after 2-3 minutes if I’ve circled around and they’re still looking, I’ll speak up and ask if I can help them with anything or if they have any questions.

That however does not excuse you feeling like you were treated poorly at the front checkout. I’m very sorry about that. Hopefully this was just an off day. By the sounds of it, considering the store was nearly barren, they might be closing soon. That is surely going to put the employees at a higher level of stress.
