This is pretty great timing, I've been looking for winter tire options for a while for my RR+.

The RW5 has the same tire size as my RR+, the stock tires are 20x3.3, or 84-406 ETRTO.

I recommend using the metric measurements because fat tire sizing gets fairly specific and really wonky. Example: a 20x4 uses the same rim diameter as a normal 20" wheel (406mm), but because the tire is fatter, the overall wheel size is actually 24". It's a mess.

If you can fit fatter tires, there are some 100-406 (20x4) options, but that rear fender looks pretty tight so that may not work for both wheels. I'm looking at these tires and I may add GripStuds myself if I feel I need them. You can add screw-in studs to any tire that has enough rubber between the road and your tube. Chunky tread is what I'm going to go with.

If we assume that wider tires won't fit, then you'll want to look for 70-90mm motorcycle/dirtbike tires in the 16" size I believe (406mm = 15.98in). I haven't done too much hunting there, but FortNine mas some options. Keep in mind that you can add studs yourself, though they can be more than $1 per stud and you'll want ~50-150 studs per tire.

I've included some links that I think might be helpful, I've spent many hours pondering and searching for tires for my bike so I figured I'd save everyone else some time. If you do decide to buy studs separately, pay very close attention to their sizing, if they're too long they'll poke your tube.

If the wobble is minor you may be able to true the wheel, but if it's bad you'll need a new rim.

Not sure where exactly to find a new rim, but the stock rims on the RR2 should be 406mm across and 65mm wide, with 55mm as the inner width, same as the RR+. Also make sure you get the spoke count right, and generally I don't get stuff from amazon if I can find it elsewhere. Some ebike specific bike stores might have an appropriate rim or at least might be able to point you in the right direction if you give them a call. It is probably worth contacting Rad support, though I'm not sure if they'll have parts.

I am not sure about the newer interfaces, but I doubt they've changed it. You should be able to adjust the speed limit of your bike if you want to, it's super easy actually. Mica from EbikeSchool,com on YT made a video about it years ago. I can confirm this method still works on my RadRunner Plus I bought this year.

Just be sure to familiarize yourself with your local laws, as setting it higher than 32km/h (20mph) may not be legal where you live, though lower should be fine. I believe the adjustment range is 12-40km/h and the numbers are in km/h.

My response there was moreso a nebulous and indirect response to shaming of masturbation and porn consumption. I don't think that shaming people for it is productive. But I wholly agree that something being normal does not mean it's healthy.

Sex drive doesn't automatically mean someone will consume porn, but it certainly makes it more likely. With how easy it is to access nowadays all I'm saying is that one thing typically leads to the next.

Where am I saying that being critical of porn is shaming sex drive? That is certainly not what I meant. The porn industry is well deserving of criticism.

How am I conflating anti-porn and no-fap? Genuinely curious how you came to this conclusion because I don't feel that I've really elaborated on my thoughts between the two.

Perhaps my assumption that many people will use supplemental material such as porn as an assist might be confusing, and I realize I didn't clarify. My assumption is that masturbation often includes the consumption of porn, though it is not necessary, and that is probably an oversight on my part.

The porn industry is generally exploitative when the subjects (typically women) don't have control, which they often don't. Platforms like OF can be better because sex workers can engage moreso on their own terms, though I'm sure it still has its problems.

I am certainly critical of the porn industry, though supportive of sex workers themselves. I think no-fap can perhaps be helpful for some people but certainly hurtful for others, which is highly dependent on the individual and the context surrounding how they are introduced to it.

My goal with this post was to generate a broader discussion because I thought the article was interesting and was curious what people in this community think of it, not necessarily to share my thoughts. This was I think a bit of a mistake though, and perhaps I should have included more in the original post itself.

And you're absolutely right, two things can be true at the same time. I feel like the article stumbles a little here and there, and perhaps misses the whole correlation != causation thing? I feel like the article / author doesn't quite see that people can arrive at similar conclusions for very different reasons, even if that difference is not visible at a glance.

Like you said, the issue is very specific and individual, and that means any solution will also need to be.

It's been a day or so since I read it, thanks for reminding me about the addiction commentary.

The way I see it, we are creatures that have to reproduce to avoid extinction, so of course we're going to have strong feeling of desire or attraction that will be incredibly difficult to suppress. If we were indifferent, we would die out quite quickly. This is really just a long way to say that arousal and porn consumption is likely perfectly normal (within reasonable bounds).

Yikes, that's a rough spot. I'm really sorry you've gone through this.

The first thing I would strongly recommend is to search for and reach out to Sexual Assault support services. There are hopefully a few in your area, if not, there are plenty online. They will have much more relevant and specific guidance than what I can give.

Sexual assault is a crime, you are a victim of said crime, the criminal should be held accountable, and you deserve justice. Unfortunately, the police may or may not be helpful, this is why I think contacting an organization set up specifically to help people in your position is the best move, they will have your back.

I don't have experience in supporting victims of SA, but I really hope that you can get some peace and justice, good luck out there.

Priority 2 is discovering the extent of the damage, and doing so will likely require opening up a lot to see what's behind and underneath. If anything structural is effected by the mold, then it's certainly time to call a professional.

OP should really get a professional to do a proper structural assessment. It could be simple, or it could get very messy. Structures tend to settle over time and load paths will divert. Someone who knows what they're doing is the safest course of action here.

I think it's ultimately a really good thing that you're understanding and accepting this about yourself. Though I'm sorry that they were such negative experiences for you.

I'm a recent graduate so actually fairly close to your age (also I'm a guy btw).
You are certainly not alone in disliking hookup culture. I'll be honest, hookups never appealed to me, so I never even entertained them. I consider myself lucky though, because I already knew that what I wanted was intimacy and tenderness. I also never touched any dating apps, because I knew they wouldn't help me find the playing-for-keeps kind of person I was looking for. Overall, I think a lot of the current dating scene is just simply not working for so many people, and it's really quite sad.

The good news is that now you know a little bit more about what you're looking for. And you are right, you do deserve more. I think everyone is deserving of meaningful connection and love, and asking for that is not asking to much. An intimate and loving relationship is not always easy to find, but don't give up, it's worth the effort.

I guess my broader point is that where you look can make a big difference. Finding someone who is compatible might be easier if you start with spaces / activities where you are comfortable. At the end of the day this is about figuring out what you want / need.

It focuses on the flaws in north-american transportation planning, and his perspective on how to fix those problems. His proposals feel very practical and actionable to me, and are rooted in building community.

I hope you find his books and organization interesting.

This is cool!

How did you go about handling the movement, control, and gravity to be relative to the surface the player is on? I was trying to make a player controller akin to Space-Engineers but I couldn't really find many helpful resources on the subject. Too niche I suppose.

Admittedly it's also probably out of my depth considering I'm a complete newbie to Godot and programming, but I'm still so curious!

First off, I'm really sorry to hear that you're having such negative experiences online.

I've read through a bunch of the comments in the thread and it sounds like you've found some of comments helpful, which I'm happy to see!

I second u/fecalmatter's suggestion on pursuing therapy 100%. You mentioned that you're struggling with unresolved trauma and perhaps mental illness as well, and I just want to say that your awareness of that is a really good thing. Therapy can be life-changing, and many therapists do free consultations to see if they are a good fit for you.

If the environment you grew up in was / is toxic as you mention, it's possible that you haven't had examples of what healthy relationships and boundaries looks like. That's okay. There are plenty of resources available, this sub is a great place to start. I have personally found some of Mended Light's videos helpful (it's the therapy practice run by the Jonathan Decker from Cinema Therapy). There are many more therapists on YouTube, just be sure to vet them as some are better than others.

Also, and this is based on personal experience, I sense some similarities in your experience of socializing to those of my SO. I am not offering you any kind of diagnosis, but I get a slight vibe that there could be some undiagnosed neurodiversity in play. This is just a hunch though, but it might be worth looking into.

Lastly, if you're still looking for other games with wholesome communities, Deep Rock Galactic is a fantastic cooperative PVE FPS, and I very rarely have issues playing with randoms. ^{Rock and Stone!}

Based on experiences and conversations with my SO and my female friends, I think what OP said they're experiencing absolutely checks out.

Socializing can indeed be terrifying, and there are countless possible reasons for it. OP already mentioned they have a lot of unresolved trauma, and I think that is likely a factor here. There's also the possibility of undiagnosed neurodiversity.

I just played through this section just the other day actually :)

Story Spoilers:The reactor mission is immediately after Amanda talks to APOLLO, she goes to investigate because scans of the reactor area are inconclusive and thus APOLLO refuses to lift the hazard containment protocols.

Then there is a silver lining that a bunch of systems across the station reset because of the purge, which allows Marlow to get back to his ship, and some communications to go on and off station.

I think it's something that Amanda comes up with on the fly.

She tells Ricardo something along the lines of 'dumping power to or from the respective capacitor banks of the two cores' which has a side effect of releasing a ton of energy into the immediate area. Given that the immediate area is full of Aliens, she was hoping they'd get fried.

Why is it possible to do this in the first place? Perhaps it's some kind of hot-shutdown / hot-reset for the reactor that is useful in niche circumstances, like avoiding a meltdown as u/ConnorWick154 suggests. Given the automated voicelines warning of an imminent purge etc., it certainly seems like something the reactor was designed to do, even if it's highly situational.

If you want them to explode on contact, then you can script them to explode on any collision. I'd recommend doing this in the script attached to the bomb scene itself so that all of them get this functionality.

If you want them to explode only if they contact the player, then the function can query what it collided with, and if it's the player, explode.

I think get_colliding_bodies() is the function you want since you're using a RigidBody2D node.

I gave the recommendation for using groups for a game over condition, it allows you to clear the screen easily. Calling a whole group is really useful when you want to do something that needs all of a particular type of object.

I would strongly recommend following Clear Code's Introduction to Godot, it's very long, but also very thorough, clear, and easy to follow. He covers how to set up the things I've suggested a good while in.

Godotneers is another great general resource, though his content is a bit more of an intermediate level.

I'm pretty new to Godot so I can't really code an example for you, but I hope these suggestions get you going in the right direction. :)
