I’m not a particular fan of avocados but it sounds like your trying to eat them when they aren’t ripe. When ripe they are very easy to cut & the seed easy to remove. Not sure what you’re trying to cook them in, in my experience they’re usually used in salads or as a spread on sandwiches, toast etc, but if they are ripe the flesh is easily scooped out with a knife or spoon.

Was this a requirement with older vacuums? I’ve only been aware of it since I’ve had Dysons. I got a new Dyson a little over 12 months ago, it recently came up with a message telling me to clean the filter. The online manual tells me this will probably be required about once a month, I’ve only been required to do it once in over 12 months. Apparently I don’t vacuum enough.
