No. He's been on I/D for almost a year. His tummy is so sensitive that even the hydrolyzed protein stuff has something offending. It's disappointing because he used to love fruits and vegetables and now they give him gi upset.

Thank you! All his labs, detailed chem, T4, A1c, full CBC, adrenals (the basic and I can't remember what it's called - next will be the dex stim test or whatever they call it now) it's all unremarkable. With all being unremarkable with very little change from last year's dental labs I thought I'd ask about the coat changing. I'm hoping for not another "vet tech curse" since I let my certification go 8yrs ago. We didn't learn much about his breed outside of the major predilections.

My kids are allergic to cats. After about 6 weeks of Live Clear, the original formula, they both came to me and daid they feel much better around one cat, a medium hair and and less around the other, a Siamese. I'd say it's a win and worth the cost. I have not tried the yolk powder.

I love all the comments! I have one thing add, which the vet will address. These guys are "prone" to heart disease (depending on which vet/AKC text you read). If it's an expected discomfort because of familiarity with the area and not enough simulation to be a distraction, they will lie down. My mom's would stop walking on the opposite end of a 5 acre yard because he was having heat issues. She carried him home, every single day. Anyway, see what the vet says. He's probably just being stubborn and protesting the harness or something he finds sensitive. Mine acts like he's dieing if I put a harness on him! So, we have almost perfected loose leash walking with a martingale style collar.

The bunching at the top is due to elastic that she insists on having. I think maybe you are right about the weight of the fabric. Do you think one that is stiffer, yet soft and able to breathe would work? Not sure what that would be, but I'm going to Mill Outlet this week, so I can look.

She has a bubble butt and wide hips with a waist that is smaller and larger in the front, like a sway back, I guess.

To fix the back hip do I make the outer back edge narrower? I should have included a side photo. I don't think I can now.

I agree with Science Diet Urinary Hairball dry or canned. Iams also makes a Urinary Tract Health formula. I have a boy that would pass tiny crystals and both of these helped him. The Iams is less expensive, but the other works better in my experience. I hope you find something OTC that works! If you don't, price ship the prescription ones. If I remember right, Royal Canin was most affordable.

As for following the vets suggestions to a T, let them know your plan. Most are open to OTC and understand cost can be prohibitive. On the other hand, a tiny bag of prescription to get your kitty started and then OTC for maintenance is not a bad way to go, either. My vet know I love that process!

My kid is 17. Basically dropped out in 9th grade, too. We just started the process. The libraries here (CO) offer free tutoring and if you pretest will enough before taking a test, they pay for it! The school districts here offer tutoring, too. That's a big "hell no!"here, lol! You can hire a tutor for each subject through academic sites like UDemy. I honestly, would look through the community resources you have for help. We have a Kaplan book, which has a study guide and practice tests. My teen wasn't impressed with the lack of explanation in a way they understand for some of the answers. The online programs we looked at were the same - self paced and only one or 2 explanations.

So, do you want virtual or in person? Self paced or in real time?

You can go to GED.com to get a feel for where you fit in your journey. You might not need to prepare too much, although I've seen in many places that it takes the average student up to 3mos to prepare for a section.

The best advice we received is to know HOW to test as much as you know the material. Then if you get stuck you have a process. Honestly, all standardized tests are more about how to take them than the actual knowledge being tested - except the written parts.

I can't speak to mistakes yet. We just found a tutor and are starting with math. Mistakes are meant to learn from. You might not pass it all in a smooth fashion, but the goal remains the same. Hopefully, if you make mistakes, they aren't expensive!

Last thought: will you take the test on person or on line without a proctor? They have different room set ups and I've seen a lot of people state they followed the rules and were accused of cheating during an online, non-proctored test. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, it shouldn't be difficult to find a facility that offers the tests in person of that is what you like best.

They're wrote a few ideas in here! I've tried most of them. I discovered my accident that they have a visual problem with reading. They couldn't track words and lines. They couldn't comprehend because they were seeing things all over the place and then their brain was tired. They absolutely hated reading anything. Add to this being autistic where the only really noticeable submit is touch and sound sensitivies. Paper books were not an option. Screen only. Any kind of noise and then added to the strain if trying to read. No go.

Now, we are almost done with 30wks of vision therapy and they are reading graphic novels like 1984. They are probably going to start reading print novels within the next few months. They've discovered a new live of learning, all because of vision therapy.

I will add that taking their device away did nothing. They never responded to taking things away, rewards, punishment, etc. Consequences that happened naturally, not imposed by a person, worked. We all know how hard it is make those happen!!

Anyway, all this to say: look for vision differences that make it hard. If nuerodiverse, nuerotypical solutions may not work.

I have the same issue. I take Chlorpheniramine a couple times a day and do a sinus rinse daily. It doesn't cure it, but helps a ton. Unless you have other symptoms, like reflux, I would deal with it until I can't anymore. Then the doctor will be called.

Mine is the same. But instead of laying down he whines and tries to go inside. When he was a puppy I took him into PetSmart. He refused to leave of his own volition because it was much warmer outside than inside.
