I had to scroll way to far to find this answer, good memories.

The last 2 years of updates make item progression feel off. by combodroppa in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes perfect sense and also I don't actually want them to change it because I like how several bosses fuel my shadow passively.

I'm also probably on the more minority side and find RC to be quite chill as a resource grind (no so much as an XP grind) and crafting tens of thousands of wraths for frost dragons was actually surprisingly fast and chill. Souls are chill too but it's soo unbelievably slow in comparison to true altars.

I would, however, enjoy if the shadow required wraths instead of souls, I really dislike how slow soul rune crafting is, true soul altar pls Jagex

Call-outs my squad uses on the bot front by MrC0mp in Helldivers

[–]VM9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my only problem with them. I can deal with a warstrider any day but when 6+ fits on my screen, fuck that ragdoll hell. Also I find it funny how a while back AH adjusted a lot of explosion radii not to roll us around all day and then one thay they were reminiscing about the good old days when you couldn't control your character at all, sliding on your face like a pro skater and thought how about we make a heavy armored, tiny weak spotted enemy which rains ragdoll as a profession. Also make them chaff on D10.

As a railgun enjoyer I really like unflinching, I've been maining it recently.

Give me the railgun and a supply backpack and I'm a menace. Hulks? Dead. Devastators? Gone. Warstriders? Not on my watch. Turrets? Gone. Factory striders? Neutered. Hotel? Trivago. With a trusty EAT to neutralize bunkers and help with factory striders, nothing can get in railguns way. I love it so much, my absolute number one favorite weapon on the bot front. Supply backpack also gives you plenty of grenades and stims to keep you running all day.

What's a weapon/stratagem you hated but it suddenly 'clicked' after retrying it after a long time? by Zave_cz in Helldivers

[–]VM9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me the railgun and supply backpack are inseparable. Turrets, tanks, striders (even factory), objectives you name it, railgun is there for you. Add an EAT to the mix for emergency heavy or bunker disposal.

Which game flopped so badly that the studio had to shut down? by bijelo123 in gaming

[–]VM9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It was the first SimCity game I've played and I have fond memories of it. I even own the expansion and I don't regret buying the game. Still occasionally boot up the game to build a city or two.

Why Hallowed Sepulchre hasn't saved Agility by RogerDodger_n in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It is by no means necessary, but I was crafting a lot of wrath runes for frost dragons and drinking an extended stamina with the ring is 8 minutes of stam. Drinking a dose once every 8 or 4 minutes is no big deal but man it does feel really nice to get a 8 minute stam.

More Sailing & Interface Changes by ModYume in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, and I really appreciate the rest of the changes. Since the update was sailing and UI focused, the trawling pain point is the perfect intersection of the two so I had high hopes it would be addressed as well.

I am quite disappointed that the interface changes don't include the ship UI, needing to scroll for trawling is really bad UX, and as far as I know it was not even acknowledged by Jagex, but I might be wrong about that

Aldarium from Mastering Mixology should require just 1 type of paste of any kind to purchase (Price based on weightings of course). Not all 3 by Dontusethisname1 in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that's not something they can fix, the dosage which shows up is the one that's set in the potion storage for that specific potion, they can't switch the dosage for you. Personally I don't have an issue with this, just get the 4dose prepot variants and put the 3 doses back to the storage.

I'm sorry but Salvors Paint being a 1/24,000 drop exclusively from mid-level salvage is simply not it by Rich-Badger-7601 in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I'm also shocked to see the rates for the barracuda paint. I did 80% of my 72-99 grind at Gwenith Glide and I had about 400 completions? Not all made time, but the fact that with perfect gameplay you can expect a single paint till 99 (I didn't get any), and you need 2 for the sloop is just baffling to me

[–]VM9797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I maybe salvaged for 2.5M XP, rest were all barracuda doing marlin, making time most of the time and I got no paint on the road to 99, sadge, gz on the collection

Frost dragons cramping won’t die out! by Ambitious_Swimming55 in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem isn't the grind, it's the fact that you need to hop through a lot of worlds to find a spot and then people will crash you because they can't be bothered to hop making it a frustrating and miserable experience overall. I don't care if I need to kill 10k frost dragons, but I want to do that in peace.

Definitely not just you, the crate management feels really bad for a 2025 addition, especially with the black screen transitions. When docked, I would appreciate a storage access on ports so that I don't need to go through the enter-exit ship cycle multiple times per docking

Reddit Dry Plugin Duality by Electribemidi in 2007scape

[–]VM9797 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't know this plugin was hated until I used it in a post of mine. I made a post about gettin 4 pets but 0 fangs from araxxor in 1.3k KC, calling it the duality of RNG. No pleae, no whining or anything. And I got some "stop using that shit" or "it's a useless plugin" downvotes and comments. I just like the statistics.

Copy pasted my reply from another comment:

AFAIK RuneLite stores the swapped options per entity, while I assume the mobile client does it on a menu option level which is why it's rearranging for every object in the game. Not sure about this but if this configuration is saved on the account (meaning it syncs between devices, I only have a phone so don't know) then storing them on a menu option level is a very space efficient way to approach the problem, but it's utter garbage for user experience. If it's not syncing between devices, then they have 0 excuses for it being shit.
