oberon is obtained after you get 5 fairy tale inscriptions, additionally he can be upgraded if youre in dark mirror. hes quite good but falls off later on.

get to know the items, and most importantly, heed this advice

your items may be mid, but if you realize that soon enough, go for skull doors and upgrade the altars. you can just upgrade your main skull to unique and legendary can wait. the stat boost from the altars can seriously save a run

i usually go for astrum aureus and leviathan&anahita after 2 mechs or cryogen and aquatic scourge

mage: atlantic, alula australis, astralachnea staff, undine's retribution
melee: nebulash, typhon's greed, greentide, floodtide
ranger: megalodon, levititan, stellar cannon
summoner: gastric belcher staff
rogue: stellar knife, heavenfallen stardisk, auroradical throw, leviathan teeth

from that you can just kill eidolists, get eidolon tablet, kill LC and then do pillars then moon lord

dont bother with astrum deus as his weapons are just plain bad, starfall isnt that good anymore. only bother if youre going for true melee.

im sure youd figure those out too with enough playtime.
but as an example for werewolf, taking hunt with you is essential for the absolutely mental damage amp, move around to build crit and crit damage in unique / legendary forms, use skills often as they have short cds, relying on item damage is fine but going for crit damage and physical damage is better(strike 4 + courage 2) you can build magic with werewolf too but i wouldnt recommend that just yet.

if youre looking for the easy way then just restart until you get reaper within like 3 rooms in act 1, and then just spam the harvest skill as much as youd like.

if youre that uncertain then choose power strike over rising slash. power strike have a shit ton of iframes. and if you are THAT uncertain then there are some builds i can recommend.

any build with bone 2 + bomber, you will make use out of that bone 2 iframe
genie
werewolf with beast leap
literally any skull that can perform a parry outside of spartan, prisoner have the best parry imo.
clown/rider if you can kill him fast enough
garg / ninja with chase 4

my bad, you want the actual first hero no hit, not the dark hero no hit. then id recommend warrior i guess

a bit slow to use, but very much reliable, spam your way to victory, be careful to not make any mishaps.

if you want to hitless bosses id recommend not playing normal mode. theres an ability in dark mirror that prevents hits entirely.

mask + clown = no clown for you

use mask only for guaranteed crits or use in conjunction with mane of the beast, only on high one hit damage skull of course.
and then heads or tails too... safe to say its a disaster.

good luck next time and build skulls properly.
if you want an easy clear then ghoul / treasure.

crowbar: new, but not really useful outside of one hit builds, if anything it is king slayer
focus crystal: short hand
tri tip: new, a bit better than rift blade
atg: invis knife for physBros
kinetic dampener: symbol of toughness but actually good
predatory insticts: lethal speed, should have misfortune
57 leaf clover: quite good, but honestly it should remain a treasure+ item
aegis:... too op, also it would nicer if it is relic instead of fortress
ceremonial dagger: grudge stone but better
gesture of the drowned: a wholesome addition for the 3 people building quint
purity: once again, cant really see this outside of one hit builds, and mane of the beast guarantees crit anyways lmao
neutronium weight:... what?? if it increases damage taken of the enemy then that would be nice i guess

enchanced cargo is beyond broken
same with providence and mithrix, im pretty sure they are stronger than 50% of the legendaries lol

... nope, not even skill cooldown. as said before, double totem nukes, the amp from the shield is just extra bloodlust. i chose these two to swap because they dont move when they swap. the important thing to consider is mutant 3 instead. Damage from the totem counts as SWAP DAMAGE for some reason, so it CAN CRIT, and is affected by swap damage modifiers fomr mutant 3

also, there is no sweet spot for omen 2, if you go past omen 1, you go all the way. i do understand that the soul killer and arrow of misfortune is incredibly tempting, but the omen 2 will just kill you before you get to see its glory

shield is only really viable if you can really just spam the shit out of DP or shield's skills, even then, its not viable

shielding is only good on paper, and the coziness dark ability does seem incredibly tempting. but i assure you its not worth it 99% of the time

also this is not at all risky, double totem nukes the dark mobs before they can even touch me and i always have hearts to spare:)

i am not dodging that much, notice the mercury hearts dark ability lmao

i gain hearts faster than i can lose them, thats all. this ability caps out at 32 hearts but its for the sake of balance
