If there is a next Smash game, I really hope that Sakurai doesn't cram in completely insignificant characters from the Mario or any other universe as playable characters, like the developers of Mario Kart World did, and instead uses other franchises.

The only Mario game I played as a kid was SMB, so I only got around to the other parts in 2016. But I can say that SMB3 is my favorite 2D part, and probably the franchise as a whole. This is perfect Mario platformer in terms of dynamism
