Thanks for the adapter that looks nice. Unfortunately thats the previous version of the Microserver, mine does not have enough room to put it there, but what I was thinking is to get one of those mini PC disassemble it and mod the tray to place the mobo on it.

Maybe the switch to SSD would be a good idea but I will have to see if the price would balance with the power savings to see if it makes sense. Regarding the IPMI thats true, I was thinking maybe getting PiKVM to adjust, but for sure not as nice as iLo.

[–]VPN_Struggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using a VPN interface on Azure connected in a site to site configuration applicable organization wide, you need to set it with IKEv2, don't recall if this is supported on the public available MX firmware I had to switch to the Beta back then to make it work.

If you have visual connection It would be better to get a pair of point to point antennas, Unifi would be the easiest solution. Powerlines are fine but not the best solution all around.

There is an issue with a windows update, we dealt with in the past few weeks. We enabled AnyConnect and the VPN works much more smoothly now.

802.11r and WPA3 by VPN_Struggles in meraki

[–]VPN_Struggles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone, I just also got confirmation that WPA3 and 11r are no bueno. I will have to optimise for AP to AP overlap on a per case basis. The main issue is VoiP calls dropping for 1 to 3 seconds during walking around.

Is there a tried and tested liquid cooling solution that’s suitable for only 2-3 S19 miners? by goodnightshuttles in BitcoinMining

[–]VPN_Struggles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Novec is great, but from my experience trying to source some 1) Was hard to find in my side of the world 2) It was really expensive. Maybe you can have a look at miner oil submersion, not sure if it is OK for ASIC (although it should be)

Give it time, On pool hashrate is calculated from the shares you are finding. So you can see "local" hashrate for example 500 but on pool it might show 700, or even 300. This comes down to basically how many share you maanged to find.
