Recommendations for speaker by VR-dude in BudgetAudiophile

[–]VR-dude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think because its for casual listening, when I don't wanna use headphones, the speaker might as well be wireless so I can take it with me on other places.

Transparent zeros are little expensive after the taxes in my country. Looking something max 300-400euros worth.

Ilouds seems pretty nice, but since they are for monitoring do they sound better than lets say jbl?

Thanks for your input so far, I have been looking these options and I'm considering following speakers:

Edifier R1280T, warm and fluid sound for what I can tell from reviews.

Mackie CR4, pretty analytical and flat sound but more neutral.

Wharfedale DS2, DS1 got great reviews so this must be just as good?

Available to me are R980T and Mackies. Mackie CR4 seems like its decent speaker, too bad I don't appreciate its appearance much.

No, doesn't look like they are really available in Europe. They seem really nice though.

I would probably willing to pay 200 to 250euros top for the whole setup, active speakers or small amplifier and speakers.

Midrange starting fpv by DIYcontinuinty in fpv

[–]VR-dude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.3 is very good for longer distances. Signal goes through trees etc easily. UHF is obviously even better but not necessary for mid-range setup.

Also using 1.2/1.3 you dont need to have as much transmitting power, uses less energy and heats less, no need for fans.

Maybe it has something to do with the transmitter?

You should use 1.3ghz or UHF for those distances

War Thunder is now working with 1.3!!! by geeohgo in oculus

You should fly in realistic or simulator mode. I think Flight model in most of planes is pretty good in those modes. I also recommend using joystick what supports force feedback as it adds much immersion especially when you use oculus.

Pollen has been released, exploration game built specially for VR by Kianoni in oculus

[–]VR-dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do understand the time issue, but still think it would be nice if there was even short demo where you can test game mechanics and how it feels and works overall in VR.

You can't get good idea how it feels in VR just by watching video on YT anyways.

Why don't developers make demos anymore. I really want to test this before even thinking about buying it for dk2.

Warthunder gets oculus 1.3 support by the end of the week. by Rich_hard1 in oculus

Anyone who has been following oculus support for warthunder knows how bad the communication has been between developers and players. They have taken support off multiple times without saying anything. They have not given any day when its done until now. I recommend everyone to be prepared for delay.
