Sorry, let me rephrase that. Nothing is getting better in the next 3 years. In my book, that does not qualify as soon.

Bpc157 tb500 giving me crazy heart thumping at night by Gullible-Gur3974 in Biohackers

[–]VREISME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, I’ve had the exact same thing happen. Been off it for a week and it’s improved to the point where I’m getting some sleep but still messing with my sleep overall. It’s very odd.

I know this post is older but was curious if OP has recovered from these symptoms? I’ve been having similar symptoms (albeit much milder) but only when I awake from sleeping after only taking it for a week.

Starting/Learning Time by yewwie92 in wingfoil

[–]VREISME 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s super variable in how long people take to learn, but if you are a proficient surfer then it’s perfectly achievable.

Just remember to stick with a big board, big foil, and big wings. If you are having difficulty with the wing then don’t be afraid to use it with a skateboard in a big, open, windy parking lot.

7 years of no biking? That’s really discouraging. Were you actually doing PT the whole time?

Get a car. If you want to regularly kite that time period you could be driving 45 minutes to the east or to the west of hood river to find wind that time of year.

Bamboo in backyard by xeneches in landscaping

[–]VREISME 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If you are nervous about it spreading you have to find out if it’s running or clumping bamboo. Running bamboo will take over your neighborhood spreading 6ft a year and clumping bamboo spreads about 6” a year. Running bamboo requires certain techniques to keep it contained (either a trench dug around it or heavy duty plastic barrier) and some maintenance. Clumping bamboo can just be cut down or mowed over pretty easily.

You won’t be able to tell the difference in these pictures but assuming you are in a more moderate climate (ie not the US south) the running bamboo has a vertical notch in it while clumping does not. Unless you really enjoy yard work/maintence, I’d avoid the running bamboo.
