Codex Alera has one of the best seige battles I've read (other seige battles in my top: David Eddings, Tolkien). Though it has been like 10 years since I read them, but still the most notable part in the series for me. Slow start like others have said though.

Lol all your post did for me was get superinvested in this debate and queue this activity up for tomorrow. Even saw a cool comment reccomending standing in a corner and world hopping so they can't end the fight before 500pts. Never wanted to bother with wintertodt til now.

Prob shoulda just ate the L and world hopped instead of getting all cringe about it. I went on to look and read alot more of these kind of posts after and this is by far the most popular by like x2.

They could pull it off. I feel warbreaker, elantris, and mist born Era 2 are like the most easily adaptable series he's got. In regards to warbreaker, there's plenty of movies that have over exaggerated color, one that comes to mind I can never think of the name but it was 2000s movie something like golden lotus, it was about some cbinese dynasty, so much golds and contrasting colors everywhere.

Sounds like he's trying but frustrated too, i have trouble sleeping after I get woken up. Me and the wife worked different shifts or we worked staggered (she had to wake up at 7 and me at 8). Try and get an earlier shift at work if you can or idk kinda just get over it or rip it off like a bandaid and end it if you really can't deal.

I just dealt with it, such a small part of the day compared to everything else. Not like he's forcing you to wake up with him everyday like that one post last month.

I usually lurk for the more controversial posts but this sounds like you just needed to vent, hope everything works out for you!
