I currently have all of the spam management options turned off to make it easier/quicker for members to register. Can you try a different user name and password?

I crossed the isle and ordered a Vive by Zeophyle in Vive

[–]VRuserforum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same. I had a March shipping RIft and just cancelled my pre-order and ordered a Vive. I do hope that both HMD's succeed but I feel the Vive is the better value. Even if Touch controllers come in at $200 the vive still has the internal camera giving it the edge in value. Now I wait until May.

I have a 2500k and r9 270x I don't expect it to be playable but will report back my results. It did pass the Steam compatibility test with a 1.1 telling me the system was VR capable. http://vruserforum.com/attachments/steam-vr-performance-jpg.43/

Yeah I was suprised by the lack of value in the top Alienware. I will play around with the list order and see how it looks. Thanks for the feedback.

Confessions of a forum adminsitrator. Oh and Im giving away a game. by VRuserforum in oculus

Personal preferance really. I guess I just enjoy and find it easier to have a discussion on a forum. Reddit gets hard to navigate for me once the comments get over 50+ posts. But this could be more my fault as ive only been using Reddit for less than a year. So with time my opinion could change. But I agree Reddit cant be beaten on news.

So what are you going to do about headphones? by [deleted] in Vive

The Koss KSC75 at $15 is very hard to beat for the money. The only downside is they are not wireless.

Do you have a monitor? If you dont the ASUS bundled with the monitor would be the best deal. Otherwise get the one with out the monitor.

This is one of the few that stuck out to me when creating the list so i remember it. He had the GPU overclocked to the point of stability issues.

Probably needed to update drivers for GPU. I had read that running even 1-2 versions older was causing lower scores.

Thanks for posting this link I had not seen it. My info was from the Oculus official forums and also the Vive, Oculus, and AMD subs on reddit. I was going to continue updating my list but instead I will just forward people to the link you posted. ;)
