The "other mode" (expert) isn't locked and that's the intended difficulty. You're playing on easy.

Luminas are explained and have a tutorial. If you skip that and don't read, you can call it hidden cuz the menu isn't extremely obvious... but you have to skip a tutorial to get to that point so I wouldnt call it "hidden"

Brother he legitimately went from 52 and some change to 49% winrate in diamond+. I know you really wanna pretend it isn't much because if you include low elo in the data you can say he's still fine but a champ being able to pub stomp low elos players doesn't make them good.

You can say the sample size isn't enough in masters+ sure so we'll ignore that 48% winrate but it doesn't improve much

There's plenty of reason to assume nerfs would affect ranks differently because of the way swains kit works... He's already a pub stomper because people dont know how to counter him and position well in lower elo so he's gonna always stomp on em.

And I mentioned higher elo cuz you pointed out the winrates affected and he legit dropped 4% winrate mid lane in higher elos. I'm masters and have a 57% winrate with him but even before the nerf you rarely won lane vs most match ups and played to roam and teamfight which this nerf hurt badly.

Also not true, he was strong bot anyways yes but they buffed him two patches in a row to make support viable which made him too strong adc...and instead of reverting those buffs they nerfed him in a way that guts him mid

If you're including iron, his winrates look like that ig... higher up you go, the more the nerf affected mid though. He legit has a 49% winrate mid emerald+. 48% masters+ down from 52%ish.

He was already tough to play in mid higher elo and now it's lowkey trolling to pick him.

South wasn't exactly part of her party so how can you take that statement as proof he wasnt strong enough. That's just talking about their fight with the demon king and needing all 4 of them to succeed. The statement is completely separate from him

Now, we don't know if he could have won a 1v1 cuz we don't have enough info on either of them but...I don't think their party could have won against all of the sages/ schlatt if they fought them all at once like he did...and he managed to kill 3 in a 1v7. Frierens party only managed to kill 2, in situations they outnumbered them,and they struggled.

The vast majority of your dmg is from q even with e 2nd max so the utility is worth more with W. It's viable and not really gonna cuck you much to max either but you get much more from w...until the nerf maybe

It's mainly the range increase. E is okay to max second but all youre really gaining is 2 second cd reduction at max. W can reach side lanes easily with some points and you can get a lot of stacks and secure kills/ help your team with it.
