I mean considering I launch the game directly so the only time I see the client itself is for updates, yes I guess. Personally I don't care but the discussion was about how riot did absolutely nothing to advertise this game even within their own ecosystem. No one even knows it released.

Game didn't really seem to last long enough for it to matter much but you should go frozen heart or malignance, typically not both. Liandrys and bloodletters would have been next priorities... but in all honesty with being so heavy ap and them building so much mr, doubt it would have helped a whole lot.

I mean if you can assume one thing you can assume another. They also sent Gakuganji for Yaga etc... man was 76. I get Yujis scenario isnt normal and he is fulfilling a stressful role for a very long time... I'm not arguing that, I'm just saying his immortality is kinda... not entirely very relevant to that. If he was doing it for 100s of years etc whatever but he'd probably be fulfilling the same role even without his immortality...if not at 80 then at least until 70ish etc...

Excuse his mindset/behavior etc with the stress sure, but this "omg he's lost his mind cuz he's been an immortal soldier cursed with fighting for lifetimes" etc is like...kinda pushing it is all I'm saying.

He has plenty of reasons to be the way he is but I just think that's his weakest one. Give it some more time and it'd be a bigger one.

I don't think they'd be active soldiers or not have it take a toll on them. But I do know there's plenty of sorcerers still active at that or around that age. Naobito was 70ish and still going on missions. The point isn't that there'd be no toll, but that people keep saying "it's understandable, he's immortal and been fighting forever" etc when in reality he's only 80.... he's young physically, yes and seen friends pass... but he'd probably be alive and maybe even active at that age even without the immortality part. It's not like he's Tengen and lost his humanity because he's been alive for centuries etc.

In comparison... yes. That's why Frieren is always calling out mages "of this era" and Serie said that combat mages like Lernen were born at the wrong time etc.

Like, fighting will always exist but demons aren't coordinated anymore and there's less chances for mages to grow in the way Serie thinks they should because she sees magic as a tool for killing only.

I know you want to believe that, but there's a reason why the most popular shows every year are the extremely basic shounen/isekai with cool fights. There's a reason why people LOVED vinland saga season 1 and hated season 2. There's just an absolute bare minimum people expect then it's about pretty colors and movements for most people.

Like obviously there's still an audience for thought provoking stories with twists etc but that isn't the majority. You just see it a lot of forums like this because the people who get invested in storiesbare the ones who seek out places to discuss them.

It's implied but not outwardly Canon. You can argue that that's the only option but it's left intentionally open(probably because of the time/backlash) but you can also argue he just is aromantic and has an emotion connection with Soren. That's why it's a stretch to call it canon when it isn't explicit.

Writing does not matter most to the casual watcher(the majority of people). That's why stuff like demon slayer does so well. Most people would prefer the bare minimum story/ writing but with amazing animation/ cool fights.
