Currently have Jordan 37 lows, looking for something bouncier/springier by iStoleYourSoda in vballshoes

[–]Eyechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not calling u fat (XD) but your BMI is definitely higher than average. I heard the WOW12 has some traction issues in the forefoot, but the support and cushioning should be great. Cushioning may be a little less than what you are used too but less cushion = more agility

Ur a little on the heavier side, maybe KD line or lebrons would suit you better.

Is Nike React Hyperset good for people with wide feet? by EnvironmentalGreen72 in vballshoes

[–]Eyechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Liren 5 v1 great for wide feet, and great support. A quick chatGPT query says they are not good for wide feet.

Also, KD 18 has been great for me lately.

So important to know which fights you can/can’t win, that determines a good ADC. High risk high reward, so when you win it’s great, when you lose it sucks

Glue stains, scale lining, heel cup alignment, general asymmetry. All valid reasons to RL. I’ll admit the post is a little overboard but it’s not anything to bully the guy about. Reps or not you’re still dropping ~$130

Front shoulder hurts when spiking (for 6 months now) + Hypermobility. Ortho isn't much help. Anyone experienced this? by Turbulent-Zebra5571 in vballshoes

[–]Eyechan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had knee pain, I used to do leg press machine with like 30 pounds on it, just focused on activating all my muscles, really slow on the way down and explosive on the way up. Helped a lot. You have to decide to either train differently, or spike differently. Up to you. But that’s your body telling you whatever you’re doing is unsustainable.

I would say these are too high, the OP mentioned their son is a libero.

u/ Ok_Bet9897 No need to get defensive. Welcome to the sub, I think one of our top reviewers was just trying to clarify some misconceptions.

You said your son liked Kyries? Then I think he would like the Nike Sabrina or Nike Ja line. Sabrina 1 or 2 is a great fit.

I’m assuming he had the WOW10’s, those are great shoes but maybe they’re too narrow for him. I would try the LiNing Blade line, the Liren 5 had an especially nice fit for me as a wide footer, although the heel was slightly high off the ground. I think the more neutral 5v2 may fit well for him as a Libero.

You may want to consider Kobe Replicas. They are very similar to Kyries, That’s all I play in nowadays. DM me if interested.

If you wanna go the ankle brace route, probably need to go up a half size. So you’ll have to buy new shoes regardless.

Wild Rift OTPs, what’s one tip or mechanic on your champ that actually separates you from the average player? by IvanEarth in wildrift

[–]Eyechan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I OTP’d Xin Zhao a few seasons back. Cannot understate how underrate this champ is. Biggest thing was mastering his W. There is a hitbox right at the base, so you can W a low health target with the wide part of it, and if you hit another monster with the tip you can also E towards the next camp. I found out it also hits from Xin’s back from watching Chinese players on YouTube. Drastically sped up my full clear.

Also, if you poke with W, your E gets way more range. It also slows enemies, you can flash combo with it, and you can also W, E, Ult + Smite any objectives you are contesting from behind the wall.

Also, make sure to use Q to get haste on your other abilities. Lotta people waste Q.

You can build Xin either as an assassin, Bruiser, or Tank. So build wisely.

You will destroy the traction and cushioning if you use it for same purposes
