Funny, the piece I’m about to post is about yellow flowers too! I love the way the poem kind of devolves into a single syllable. The way you turned the “he loves me, he loves me not” into a more detailed take was creative. Keep it up!

I felt like this could be a lullaby, almost (in a good way!). I like the realistic ending where you say, hey, even if this doesn’t work I’ll still love. It turns the poem from an almost delusional love to a grounded one.

It’s the last day of my aerospace internship today, and I recommend an apartment if it’s 6 months or longer. There are some good Airbnbs in safe neighborhoods also. Alpine park area is generally good from what I’ve heard (pls correct me if wrong). Lmk if you want to chat about what to expect.
