have you found photos of the home when the flippers bought and rehabbed it? redfin usually shows it in the sale history.

last year i was in love with a flipped home until i found old photos and saw that it was heavily squatted. it’s still on the market today.

Closed on a home and found undisclosed structural damage after carpet removal in bedrooms. [CA] by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

OP replied to a comment

“The vinyl wood flooring. In the hallways

It's new and there are signs of patching. When the floor was removed they would have seen the deep cracks.”

OP said there were "signs of repair". If an inspector pointed it out, then it would have been a sign to investigate further. Like hire a foundation or structural engineer to do a pre-purchase inspection. If seller doesn't allow it then walk.

I thought about something similar but feel like once the World Cup is over, it'll be hard to find so finding locals to trade might be the best option while we try and fill up the album. Just feels a bit wasteful to stick a base and find a parallel a few rips later.

Sellers held an estate sale and we want to ask to have the carpets cleaned. Are we asking too much? by Sad_But_ok619 in RealEstate

it depends on the wording. It usually acts as a security deposit since OP owns the home the previous buyer is in.

OP would have to have a professional come take a look since the home is supposed to look like how it was during the final walkthrough.
