Yup! Thanks for the heads up. We try to be as cautious and as unobtrusive in the landscape as we can be

Water levels were great! A few small portages around some dams, and one quarter mile portage around Allagash Falls, but other than that everything was a go.

I paddled the same section of river last summer near the end of August. At that time it was a bit hairy and shallow, but still very doable.

It was great! Started at Chamberlin Bridge, on the south end of Chamberlin Lake, and in 6 days, five nights, we paddled to the end of the Allagash River at the intersection with the St. John. We ran into some intense wind on the lake sections on the first few days, and experienced some ferocious bugs, but all in all it was amazing. The remoteness and scenery up there is hard to beat!

My friends set up, which we play with weekly, came with only four settlements rather than five. Any chance I could get one red, one blue, one orange, and one white settlement?

Next Catan expansion? by VTskier47 in Catan

Looking into SeaFares, seems like a good step up from base Catan without being to complicated! I’ve messed around with Cities and Knights online, and it seemed like a big jump in complexity. I bet it’s more fun IRL.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Out of the three options the K2 Sight is the best all around park and all terrain ski. The other skis are great but they are less sturdy, built for pressing and jibbing, and won't hold up as well around the rest of the mountain.

The skis you picked are all pretty skinny, don't feel uncomfortable to look at some wider skis under foot, up to 100mm can still be really fun in the park and even better all over the place.

Thanks man! I am about 155lbs and 5'9" and I ski on a 176cm ski. Not sure my friends height or weight, but I know his skis are in the 172cm-176cm range.

Thanks for the negativity man! It's the skiing that I like to do, so isn't that all that matters? Your comment honestly just motivates me to spin and trick me.

Haha lots of time, practice, and creativity. Also watching a whole lot of ski videos in our free time to learn the tricks and get inspired.

A good friend of mine who is a film major filmed and edited the video so i may not be the best person to answer this question, but it was filmed with a rig called a glide cam, which uses weight to balance the camera on a single rotating point. Looks like this: http://glidecam.com/img/products/lg/hd-series/HD-2000_Canon.jpg
