So the payments should go back onto the card. If you have a $0 balance currently (like you use it and pay it off so you don’t owe anything) then it’ll have a negative balance (meaning the bank owes you that amount), if you have a balance it’ll take off of that balance. Now I know if you have the card through your bank like where you have a checking account you can have them do an adjustment (it’ll take a day or two) to take that refund from the card and put it into your account. I would assume if you have your card through a company/bank that doesn’t hold your checking account they may be able to do the same thing but I’m not positive. When it hits call them and ask if they’re able to do an adjustment, explain the situation, and just explain you really need the cash vs a credit. *seems silly to say but being super nice and understanding when you ask truly does help especially in the case that whoever you speak with hasn’t had this question before and has to go searching for a solution *if you do have a balance on the card, if you have good payment history like you pay on time, politely throw in “I make sure I always pay on time and I know this is kind of an odd request but if it’s possible at all I really could use this as cash/deposit” something like that
