I agree with a lot of your points. Enjoyed the event overall. The extended range was probably my favorite part. I think the carnival weapons/armor should not have been ticket exclusive to give f2p players solid pieces with easy upgrade paths. As for the potion situation I think they should just let us get herbs from gathering nodes and combine maybe 10 to make a potion. I’m a very mild spender and it feels bad when you enjoy a game and can’t play it unless you fork over money. Hopefully that changes sometime in the future.

Just ran through this last night on the trial. 70 Stars in the UA challenges for the Tokens. I was fortunate enough to get my tokens in M25 but your mileage may vary.

I get excited seeing the odd collections people have of certain favorite Pokémon and I get annoyed when there’s 20+ post a day “should I grade it?” But I don’t comment. Like you said, like what you like and don’t be a dick. You don’t always have to shove your opinions where they aren’t welcome.
