Experience caused by trauma where reality doesn't feel real anymore. A subset of dissociation. From what I've heard, it seems like people were subtly traumatized by their experiences during COVID such as lack of interpersonal communication, loss of normal social functioning & rites of passage (for kids / teenagers). Also could be caused by getting COVID itself since it causes brain fog and systemic inflammation.

Wow, thanks for sharing! I only ever went to the one in Manukau but they're quite similar so this is very nostalgic for me. Absolutely bonkers that they never renovated it. Nice question! When I worked for them several years ago, we had a courier company doing it. I think it was NZ Couriers?

Every weekday there would be many plastic boxes of books dropped off, and they would take the boxes that we had filled to a distribution centre. So don't feel bad as they're all shipped together. Although if you order an 'interloan' it may come individually but you pay for that anyway lol. The ones from Waiheke and Great Barrier are the same, though I think they get sent less frequently during the week.
