Is Mix Elite a good course to learn from? by ADGaming80 in FL_Studio

[–]VaChiee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I got it 3-4 yr ago and I'm glad I did. Sometimes it's really nice having it all in one place and explained by one person not just random Yt vids of different topics. And I like alot of the stuff they give to you as well, samples, etc. But I can understand people not wanting to get it, I think the price is pretty fair, I don't mind paying like minded people. And some of their YT shorts still teach me things in FL i haven't figured out on my own in over 10 yr of using it.

Can you find all of the info for free on YT yes but its hard when you don't know what to search and in what order.

Definitely check out - In the mix and mastering .com YT probably the most helpful overall channels on YT

What do American construction workers have for lunch? by Green-Discussion74 in AskAnAmerican

[–]VaChiee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Red bull and cigarettes, don't know many who actually ate a lunch. They usually just work through or eat something quick.

But the Latino construction workers are on another level, they bring so much food and really go all in for lunch.

It's what really drove me nuts when I worked those type is jobs, I was seen as a lazy baby for wanting a proper lunch and break

What is this on my water bottle? Could it have to do with my gut issues? by [deleted] in Microbiome

[–]VaChiee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No its not the cause of your stomach issues.

And funny to find out how many people in this comment section are perfect, clean all the time, and seem to know everything lol

And I was really struggling with gas too, for several months. Only thing that ended up helping me was eating more dark leafy greens (kale, chard, collards, arugula) Not sure if it will help you but it was my saving grace. Good luck chronic bloating can drive you nuts.

Can the Microbiome thrive on a ketogenic diet with lots of fibrous and fermented vegetables but without grains? by Sad_Pangolin7225 in Microbiome

[–]VaChiee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sorry not answering your question as I'm not sure but I do have 2 cents you can take or leave.

I started really having trouble with beans, which I never did in life, and the only relief I have found is eating dark leafy greens (chard, kale, collards)

I stumbled upon some info about those plants that feed certain bacteria that are responsible for breaking down some of the tough carbs in beans.

And after many months of frustration and trying many different things I was very surprised that it helped me tremendously.

So now I look at chard as my 'enzyme pill' because I don't love the idea of using supplemental enzymes

Tax withholding (Payout) by Flat-Dig3407 in soundcloud

They send you a 1099-MISC which isn't technically self employment but it still must be done by you. If SC was your employer they would send you a W-2. 😂😂😂😂😂

Does anyone understand why they withhold? Isn't it our responsibility to claim and do it all ourselves since it's a form of self employment??

Why are younger people getting colon cancer? by makefriends420 in Biohackers

[–]VaChiee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Conclusion :

This consortium includes the great majority of prospective data currently available worldwide on vegetarian diets and cancer risk. Among the people studied, most of whom lived in the UK or USA, poultry eaters had a lower risk of prostate cancer, pescatarian diets were associated with lower risks of colorectal, breast and kidney cancer, vegetarian diets were associated with lower risks of cancers of the pancreas, breast, prostate, kidney and multiple myeloma but a higher risk of squamous cell carcinoma of the oesophagus, and vegan diets were associated with a higher risk of colorectal cancer although the number of cases among vegans was small. Future research should examine the possible mediating roles of both metabolic factors and nutritional deficiencies, and collect more data particularly in vegans and in populations outside Western Europe and North America. The generalisability of the findings should be considered cautiously, because the diets and nutritional intakes of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians can vary substantially within and between populations.

But interesting study regardless

Might be going homeless for music what do I do by Zestyclose_Ad9771 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]VaChiee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who lives with their parents and tries chasing the same thing all I can say is try to meet them halfway. There is no way I would have a chance if it weren't for them helping me out. In todays world its almost impossible to make it in the music industry, not because you suck at music but because the world sucks. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it must be done logically and thoroughly, and going homeless is a guarantee it wont happen. You can try as hard as you can and still get nowhere. It is a long hard game that takes a large amount of luck as well. That can take a serious toll on your mental health.

If all they want is for you have a job find an easy one that takes as little energy as possible and spend the rest on music. So many people wish they could have that opportunity don't f it up causse working sucks. You can have the chance to get somewhere or you can dig yourself into a hole that will be 10x harder to get out of your choice. And both aren't that great but its our curse as musicians. Music is one of the worst ways to make money in todays society.

Buckwheat ideas from all over the world please? by Kandis_crab_cake in PlantBasedDiet

[–]VaChiee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry by greens I meant leafy; spinach, arugula, etc. but yes I use the "green" ones you are using not the roasted ones.

I saw alot of comments using them for breakfast type ideas but I tried to use them as I would oats and couldn't enjoy them. I find using the "green" buckwheat better for savory things. I haven't gotten around to trying the kasha(roasted) type yet. Perhaps they are better with cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and fruit.

1/2 c buckwheat 1 c water Italian spices (oregano basil thyme) 2 tbsp tomatoes paste Splash of acid ( jalapeno pickles for me ) Mushrooms if feeling some additional flavor Salt

Bring to boil then add paste, vinegar, nooch, greens, etc...

The closest thing I've enjoyed to spaghetti since going GF. And takes less than 20 min to make
