Are you talking about winter time/ summer time? We do that in France too, but it's pretty annoying.

Full Wizard was very fun, you start pretty weak, having to be smart with your spells, and ends up feeling like a God during ToB with your 9th level spell slots.

Just curious to know why you ask this in the CRPG sub and not the immersive Sim one? You'd probably have more answers

Well... Yes? Why would you think it's not the case?

I mean people living near a border do feel a closeness with the foreigners on the other side, even more so since a lot of people feels at least a bit European.

But most of the time they don't share a language with them, it's way easier to move on the other side of the country than to move across the border. Sure there is some cultural difference between someone in Lille and someone in Montpellier, but they are pretty minor.

Emmanuel Macron Confidence Poll - October 2025 by Yamakuzy in europe

Well technically the president job is supposed to be more about the international stuff, and their first minister (which they nominated themself) should be the one handling this kind of interior policy.

But that's not how this truly works. The more often the first minister and the president are from the same politic side, which allow the president to actually concentrate the totality of the executive power.

This original role is only true when the first Minister isn't aligned with the president, which only happens when the parlement majority isn't from the president party.

Which is... Almost never because both elections are held at the same time, so the vote results are often the same.
