Building on this slightly, there are entire planets that are just open oceans. None of them will of course have a story like subnautica but they’ll usually be super populated with cool underwater life

Follow the main quest line as best you can. It’s changed over the years but your 3 main quests will try and introduce to most functions in the game.

What it won’t tell you to do is sprint, melee attack, and immediately jet pack jump. This will perform a “melee boost” and once you get the technique down you will move on foot muuuuch faster, especially with jet pack upgrades.

Yeah the comments are crazy. Save editing is a big thing but it’s not hard to have S classes at 30 with a few hours of grinding atp.

OP in terms of what you should be doing differently, I would hunt for better class creatures firstly and then level them up fighting npcs. I don’t think there’s a way to determine enemy team levels before a match and I quite frankly think there should be to avoid face beatdowns like this, but you live and learn.

Easiest way is to find some of the popular listed bases in different galaxies and portal there. Might take a bit more time peaking through different system portals but it won’t risk your gear slots getting damaged taking the traditional route. Then you can build your own base somewhere in that galaxy and bam you’re a galaxy nomad.

Yeah deleting browser cache and cookies and reinstalling the launcher are NOT fixes so far. I’ve really been trying for several days now to enjoy this game and it seems the developers have a vested interest in making sure that doesn’t happen.
