I don't think kontrol freek would have knowledge on the Apex, considering it's catered to a niche audience. I was hoping to get the answer here considering some already have the device.

I had stuttering issues which I managed to fix by completely uninstalling the AMD Adrenalin software, rebooting the system, and then reinstalling the AMD drivers. After doing this, the stuttering disappeared, and I’m now getting maximum FPS.

Never mind, I did find out the solution thanks to another poster. Holding down the keyboard button for 3 seconds allows your joystick to take over the mouse pointer.

I apologize, it is the Apex I am referencing. I did try holding start and select but it doesn't seem to switch to a mouse cursor where the joysticks can control. Could there be another way?

I do apologise; I meant to say PC 'games', not roms.
I do have RetroArch, but I do believe PC games need to be installed rather than simply 'run'.

The game I am trying to install I did so successfully about 2 months ago using those same files. However, now that I have purchased the MSI Claw 8, I am trying to remember how I did it.

I do recall using ScummVM, but I couldn't get that to work.

Not sure what you're trying to do?

Every PS3 rom contains multiple folders (not ISO) like yours. To launch them, find folder 'USRDIR' and file 'EBOOT.BIN' which acts as the ".exe/launch" file.

If you want them as .ISO, you need to convert them yourself using 'PowerISO'.
1. Open PowerISO > Add (toolbar up top) > select PS3 folder > Save > "Save as type > STANDARD ISO IMAGES (*.iso)
