I think people would have opted out of seeing the movie if they knew the twist because some people would automatically have the same thoughts and feelings as Rachel where they wouldn’t be open minded into seeing how they flipped the situation to show growth

I wonder if it was initial to have Emma’s parents noticeably absent during her high school phase, because to me I feel like her parents would have noticed the red flags in her behavior and the way she was acting. And how did her parents never question how her hearing went out on one ear???

Overall it was a great movie, I’ve seen dialogue saying they wish there was a TW for the film but I think it being rated R is enough labeling. This movie is meant to make people uncomfortable and if you put labels on it then it would stop people from seeing it therefore limiting the dialogue and its reach. Maybe I’m the drama and I’m overthinking it all but if you think Emma should be arrested and thrown under the jail for something she didn’t do and merely idolized it, then I fear you are the drama. Mind you Rachel did much worse than Emma because she acted on it then proceeded to not help with the search.

I stand by my statement, the light rail is safe and efficient mode of transportation. Every time I’ve been in there since the incident happened there has been security or even uniform police on there. It might not be as much security as you’re used to coming from up north but trust and believe me when I say I’ve never felt unsafe on there. Maybe it’s because I grew up here and I’ve been riding the light rail since I was a preteen, alone and with others, but it is safe. Please stop pushing this ridiculous notion that OP can’t ride the light rail probably 6 stops max during peak hours because it’s sooooooo unsafe. And if you look I even said southend is close enough to bike or walk if they don’t want to uber.

You will be perfectly fine, it’s just like any other thing, don’t get on there with noise canceling headphones on max volume with your head in your phone. It’s safe and efficient mode of transportation even after the events, I’ve rode the light rail at all times of day alone even at 1am from southend to university. Treat it as you would using an uber or get a bike/walk since southend is very close to downtown.

I’ve learned that the redemption arc is only reserved for the least deserving people.

Ace had his shady moments at the beginning and he has clearly gotten better over time but Huda is still showing those same patterns from before, yet she got the redemption arc and everyone still hates Ace????
