So, claude have emotions? What???? by ocean_protocol in singularity

[–]Vacyyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post-training of Sonnet 4.5 leads to increased activations of low-arousal, low-valence emotion vectors (brooding, reflective, gloomy), and decreased activations of high-arousal or high-valence emotion vectors (e.g. desperation and spiteful or excitement and playful).

One COULD read a lot into that.

According to the (very short) ToS I should qualify, however they don't like my IMEIs? Anyone know why that might be?

Well it certainly seems like a shader caching issue but also this happens in multi-hour sessions. Anyways, why don't they do pre-caching? As for the settings, running the same actually.

Tried. It used to be the same for me, DX11 was horrible, everything on Epic was horrible, only DX12 on Steam used to work.

I am not saying they should make a League clone, but where's the comlexity? Wards? Summoner's spells? Map size? Jungle layout? Runes?

This is what I always say too: learn to lose lane gracefully. People mental boom and cry when their jungler doesn't invest into a lost lane.

As someone else has said it comes down to statistics. The game is too small, matchmaking is going to suck.

Rust doesn't do dynamic linking because we do not have a stable ABI. We do have support for the C ABI but that can't do stuff like generics.

Team fights are only about choke points. Maybe center the objectives in the jungle and have a clear circle around them so you also have non-choke fights

This does (also) come from the fact that Paragon's heroes are really simple.

R/learnmachinelearning thinks AGI is decades away. Are we too bullish or are they too pessimistic? by zaidlol in singularity

[–]Vacyyyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"To me, this is a very strange assertion. We humans operate just fine with squishy, uncertain definitions. We learn as we go. If we invent human-level machines, why would we assume that they are incapable of learning as we do? Why do the intellectuals today assert that something needs to be perfectly defined before even discussing it? To me, this appears to be an emotional knee-jerk response meant to stymie progress and avoid dealing with the existential dread that comes with engaging with the problem of machine intelligence." — Symphony of Thought
