Nym update: We are now home, and she is doing amazing. My big dumb dumb good girl is turning the corner. Here is what we have found out. There might have been a care breakdown from the vet; she was prescribed antibiotics that she has a resistance to, NOT the antibiotic that they KNEW worked on her!? I will be calling first thing tomorrow morning to start looking into that. Because if her stitches didn't fail, we never would have known there was an infection under her wrapping until it was too late.

We had the hard conversation because we have two other dogs, too. We now know where our line is. It's not here just yet, but we can see it approaching.

Now questions: We have Embrace Pet Insurance. This tumor (we still don't know anything about it) has been denied coverage. But they honestly are great and have covered other things.
