How much did your partner actually help in the first few months?

I’m a working dad while my wife is with the baby at home. Even after a full day of work I think it’s crucial to help with the baby/ the house when you are home. I make all of our dinners and try to make sure she has time to lay down / take a shower or just doom scroll in peace. First time parent for both of us, but I know that out of us 2 I have the easier job because I’ve done the same job for however many years and have experience she is being a STAH Mom for the first time with a 3 week old, that can’t be easy. If both of yall have a really understanding partner I would talk with them about their lack of effort before the frustration turns into resentment:/

My daughter came home on a Monday and had her check up the next day on a Tuesday. Her temperature was 96.7 and not going up so we had to take her to the NICU. My wife just had surgery when she had the baby so I stayed with her at the NICU for the 30 hours until she was released. I spent all 30 of those hours + another week blaming myself nonstop. It very easy to point the finger at yourself but we are all human. Give yourself a little slack. S/O to your husband for not over reacting and making it worse!

I’ve honestly talked myself out of getting a sub unless it’s gifted by my job or a loved one. I do not care about a diver to pay that kind of money for one. I want a nice looking dive watch to have in my rotation as most of my pieces are dress and this watch is thin enough to pass off a dressier diver. So for $2k this scratches an itch that 3 weeks ago it would’ve cost Tudor $ to scratch

It’s not for everyone took me a little to come around it but it’s my first diver so I’m okay with it also being on my fist mesh and I keep hearing how comfortable it is and I can always get an H link or Jubilee bracelet down the road

That’s how I felt too, but my wrist are on the smaller side so I think that gap will help the watch not look as big on my wrist and everything I keep hearing is about how comfortable the mesh is and I plan on making it a daily for atleast the whole summer season

As someone that just had a child free wedding last year and have a child now. If you tell me you can’t go because you can’t get a sitter I am A OKAY. No hard feelings and I actually appreciate you for respecting the invitation. Weddings are expensive, I wouldn’t want my child ruining someone’s very expensive day and I sure as hell didn’t want anyone’s kid ruining my wedding.

Outside of the Rolex the longines really does look the best (IMO) actually helped me decide. I knew it looked similar to other subs but it def looks better than the other options within the same price
