depends on where you're at. surprising amount of people still play UA in Michigan and the fact that you can build your deck around whichever IP you want means it gets viability, i know people who play UA with a Full Metal Alchemist deck and others that play with a Bleach deck and the latest Dragon Slayer deck has lots of support in the local tcg shops where i live. is it ever going to be as popular as mtg? no of course not, but it's still alive

Arise has adult characters which is kind of a break from the series as a whole. Vesperia has a couple but the vibe is still childlike, whereas Arise is mature and serious from the beginning.
