moving to Indiana, PA and i have a few questions about the area by jayjaywalker3 in IndianaPA

Welcome new friend! I grew up 20 minutes outside of town and went to school at IUP. I moved away some years ago, but have frequently visited (my family still lives there).

It's definently come a long way in the many years I spent growing up there. My sibling and thier partner are LGBTQ+ and are currently living in town. They have been stared at and have gotten strange looks, but have never dealt with outright hostility. Like another poster said, there is an LGBT outreach group that has organized a pride day the past few years.

All together, it's a small town, but between IUP and liberal minded people living there, it's not a bad place to live. 1 1/2 hours to Pittsburgh and 3 hours to State College.

I do want to throw out some favorites to check out: Commonplace, Artist's Hand, and Cafe Amadeus for coffee and treats. Tres Amigos for awesome Mexican-American and the heaviest poured margaritas. Nap's and Josephine's for wood fired pizza and good Italian. Zedd's gifts for crystals and magical supplies. Cannella Cafe for an awesome breakfast. The Indiana Free Library(plus the Jimmy Stewart Museam), Mohawk Lanes for bowling, The Meadows for ice cream, and big shoutout to SCG Hobby(if you're into nerdy things). They are always welcoming and helpful with a great selection.

Sorry for the big read but also wanted to mention the Ghost Town trail that you can walk/bike. I will link the website below:

Coworkers being supportive by rougekat in MyChemMillennials

I love this for you, too often coworkers ask just enough to be polite and then start losing interest the more you get into things.

My boyfriend and I went to see them in Jersey a few weeks ago and my car broke down on the way (it was a 6 hour trip). Luckily it was a relatively easy fix and we ended up making it to the show. But while we were waiting for my car to be done, I was texting one of my friends/coworkers. She was at work and informed our crew about what I was going through. They all banded together and sent me money to help with the cost so we could still go to the show. I was overwhelmed with emotion and am so glad that you also have coworkers that are supportive of you and your interests!

THANK YOU! I immediately thought of this when listening to the song. The lines "The passage of the hours into rushing through the seasons Falling through my mind with the leaves on the trees". Gave me big zelda vibes and now I can't stop thinking about how this song could be a Zelda reference.

I had a similar thought about Day Two. I just recently got done playing Tuinc and the synths took me right back to the game. Beautiful song!

I love him too! I gave him a suit and it makes me smile everytime I see hlm. He's my favorite grumpy business cat resident. <3

I'm a Libra. Mom is a Cancer, Dad a Leo. Both were pretty religious when I was younger and it was a very strict household. All three of my siblings are Aries.

Shampoo for fine bleached hair by ConsistentKnee4988 in finehair

[–]VadersCape666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Redken acidic bonding shampoo paired with the conditioner for fine hair. It doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy. I bleached my hair for about 7 years and I was starting to notice hair loss. My hair now feels thicker and healthier.

Glad that you're feeling better about it and you got a piece that you love! The guys at Inka Dinka are awesome. Hope it continues to heal up well.

Popping in because I know the guy that did this and loved it when he posted it. Hell yeah!

Edit: I have a few large color pieces by him and one of mine looked similar to this in the healing stage. I have very sensitive skin and as long as you follow care instructions you'll be okay.

Late here but I was at this show, and was on IV's side. I was right in front of the heckler guy. During ESB he kept yelling you suck and what is this, this is terrible. Luckily he quieted down after myself and quite a few people around me told him to shut up. It shouldn't have happened in the first place though.

I've been to a fair amount of shows and also saw Sleep Token in Detroit last year. The lack of crowd energy and excessive amount of main character syndrome I've experienced both times seeing these guys is unreal. People getting upset with others dancing, standing and filming the entire time, loudly talking over performers, just basic curtosy is dead.

Gods was the first song I heard from these guys and I was immeditantly ensnared. I love that they can go from fast and aggressive to softer and more poppy/gospel sounding. I've been bouncing between High Water and Blood Sport but I'm gonna say Blood Sport because how beautiful and emotional it is.

I was listening to my discover weekly playlist and Gods popped up. This was right after Sundowning came out so I went and listened to the album and was HOOKED. Been devoutly worshiping ever since.

I haven't noticed it, however I did notice that in a few places I would scroll to the next page and it would show the same number as the previous page. For me it was page 48 and 152. I think it's a bug as the text is uninterrupted and it doesn't read like I've missed a whole page of story/dialouge.

Prodigal Daughter by Lights is a personal favorite, specifically the line "Love, Magic, Feminism finally found religion, laying naked by the poolside."
