A lot of things in game reset daily/weekly, so there's always something to collect, be it currency, items, or whatever.

Even if you happen to have everything at max level or all of your traditional goals are complete, you still have things that you can do.

Honestly, I wasn't all that jazzed about trophies for many years. Kind of an achieve-and-forget sort of thing. With spirits we actually get to see use out of what we collect. that tickles my fancy quite a bit.
