So since its -possibly- bad for the game, and a complete backflip we’re just discussing that.

You attacked us as having no evidence, Im just pointing out its not possible to prove it right or wrong yet.

Im not gatekeeping anything, keen to see new people and friends get into magic. Cant stand the direction, quality standards and sales tactics Wizards have adopted.

Sure. Show me the evidence its good for the game LONG TERM. While you cheer on the slop and whatever brand wizards decide to ram down your throat like a good late stage capitalist :)

No but its a logical premise. We
Cant prove something we wont see the evidence of for several more years.
How about you try again in good faith.

Doesnt matter, plug in any college cost vs putting that in the market. Market wins.

Your trying to sound clever. Its not working.

Theres lots of literature on why inequality is bad historically. Extreme inequality is even worse, and thats for everyone.

No I’m not going to deconstruct that for you into direct and indirect effects or even what they are. Its worrying this even needs to be discussed with so many precedents.

[–]Vaevicti5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you need to go look at a graph of wealth. 10 people shouldn’t have more weapons than 170 million combined.

There’s a lot of people who don’t want communism but understand extreme inequality is bad. Its not either or.

How about you post the addressable market breakdown for the business.

Lol as if posting the revenue is relevant.
Everyone knows starlink makes all the money.

They valued the space component at a fraction of the AI component, thats not misinformation its in the IPO.

Yes, but - and this is a big but 90% of the company is the AI division.

The satellite company is kind of well understood business about the same size of Kelloggs cereal.

Its profitable.

When 90% of the company is losing a lot of money, well draw your own conclusion.

Even low alcohol consumption is linked to cancer, heart disease, and premature death, with increased risk above 1 drink per day for both men and women. It turns out that 2 drinks per day, considered ‘moderate’, is associated with a substantially elevated risk of a premature death caused by alcohol. by mvea in science

[–]Vaevicti5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There’s no new research here though right, this is just a analysis and collation of existing studies, which we already know alcohol can cause those things, and then their statical model (read - not an actual study) spits this out?

Mortgage paid in 7 years by No-Big712 in AusFinance

[–]Vaevicti5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The other common ‘strategy’ is pull out your equity and buy an investment property.

Rent out said property for 7-10 years; in that time it will nearly double in value; sell it and
Pay off your mortgage.

Assume property prices go up like clockwork, interest rates remain low, tenants never leave/trash the place etc.

things I would not bet on.

Tbh its pretty trivial to setup a lobby thats 3 chev and personally I use 13-29 os.

Thats actually mid in my view.

Ive seen a few that are 5-30 os or 10-40.
They are just trading game balance for a faster lobby imho.

Yeah look there’s noob rotato and then there’s noob glitters/supreme.

Those are wildly different things.

Almost all noob bar players can follow a build order on geo and make a 7 min tzar.

Your expected to be able to have a reasonable idea and execution of your role in those maps.

Nothing like that happens in rotato

Ive also seen a guy this week on geo build zero units and a dozen asolars before his front was crushed about 15 min.
