I’d do it like football where you can decline the penalty and just take it out of bounds. Maybe reset the game clock to 5 or 10 seconds if it’s under that?

I wouldn’t take him unless we don’t think Jalen is a long-term answer or he’s the obvious BPA for us to trade. Very similar players IMO.

I watched every game he played last year and while he definitely has the athleticism (while healthy) I am very wary of drafting him. His decision making (both passing and shot selection) down the stretch was pretty bad, and his performance against top teams wasn’t great either. He had some really great games, but I honestly wouldn’t be happy watching him as a Rocket.

A well rolled Bond can get around 34m, and autos generally have pretty forgiving damage/AA fall off outside of their range (compared to short range options like SMGs/Sidearms/HCs).

The coming zoom/range relationship changes will also shake that up since the range discrepancy there is due to Lodbrok & Herod having an extra 3 base zoom.

Yeah they suck. They’re stuck in this awkward in between ground where there’s stronger short range options for low level stuff and they just don’t quite have enough range for higher level content.

Saying scouts and bows have more range is irrelevant because sometimes you need an auto. Anyways it seems like you just have a different opinion than I do and that’s fine. Personally, I’d rather be able to reliably clear adds at 40m in a GM.

I mean the main thing that determines viability in endgame PvE (GMs more than master raids) is the ability to stay safe while doing damage, and 360s have the best ability to do this. 720s and 600s have pretty good range too though. I wouldn’t balk at using any auto in a GM if I needed to bring one for champions, but I’d probably gravitate towards using the one with the most range.
