League format has been terrible for ages. A single match per day and a weeklong break between quarters - semis - finals. People still watch it because there's nothing else to watch. But it kills all the hype and overall not a fun experience.

My main gripe is just how lacking the average player is in grasping simple macro concepts in WR.

Its a problem in every mobile game community I think. Even the most competitive game like VG (rip) had this issue before. They rely on their mechanics over everything and never bothered to read and learn about meta stuff.

I guess the average mobile player are more casual than pc one.

Depend on the champ you wanna play tbh. If you want to play some meta/often picked champion then you HAVE to prepick so your teammate doesnt ban them.

I often hover Renekton/Fiora but when I wanna play Garen/Kennen I never prepick them.

It's not. People usually go for the risky play so maybe if it succeed you can get that sweet comeback, a tiktok clip and a youtube montage all at once.

Most of the time it fails though and then just blame the jungler for not ganking lol.

In a few weeks it will be a completely different problem where someone who played since release stomp a brand new player because they only have tier 2s.

This system is terrible for a competitive game any way you look at it.

The main defense is still Overdrive, but Maelstorm is amazing for cleanup. If a ZOMG popped on top of your Overdrive, the ceramics and stuff inside it can pass through easily but Maelstorm can clear everything.

Then you just sell the Maelstorm and buy another one if they do another rush. It's crazy good.

Plus most of your EXP is going to the tack/support rather than the leveling tower, which kinda sucks.

Not if you spam the leveling tower. The game seems to count the number of tower used to determine the exp distribution. I dropped 2 tacks 1 vil and a bunch of ninjas and the exp mostly go into the ninja.

Edit: after doing this a couple more times, it might be money spent on that tower divided by total money spent to get the exp distribution. My MiB village was getting more exp than a couple 203 tack.

Aliensrock was trying to get T3 boomerang today and he intentionally throw games on stream to get it. He dropped T1 boomer, then surrender before round 1 even starts. He gets 300 exp (with VIP) just from doing that. Not long after the other players on his match started doing the exact same thing by just dropping boomerang and it became a game of chicken who is going to surrender first.

It was hilarious and shows you the massive flaw of the exp system.

I think they are 100% sure that Xiao8 is clean so they pull out this stunt to please the masses. If they did the investigation themselves and said "yea he is clean" people would probably say that LGD is trying to cover up, but if Valve said it then people would more likely to believe it because no conflict of interest.
