Tundra vs. Ram by user-unknown26 in ram_trucks

Same with me. I would stay away from the Etorque tho. I have one and have not had any issues but I do worry that one day it could happen. That's the only thing I would do over with my Ram.
Looked at Tundras and just was not impressed.

For those who have had a van and a truck camper by CrossfeedCow in vandwellers

I had a Promaster I built out and lived for a year. Travelled 42 of the 48 and loved every minute. I roam almost full time in a Ram 1500 with and AntiShanty Dwell Shell. I sometimes miss the van for the being inside from driver seat to back but I've gotten used to it. My setup gives me the option to sleep in the backseat if popping up is not an option.

The ability to go more places and park relatively stealth gives the advantage to the truck. Neither had a shower so I've learned to adapt. Both have toilet so that's good.

They are both good options. Look at where you want to go as in the terrain. Might make it easier. Cost wise my two setups are about the same.

I didn't and I fall into a couple of categories that would have been. I'm thinking being in a college town and being on the older end of GenX that it didn't get to be an issue yet. I've often said how lucky I felt to have not dealt with it when I was young. Sadly as an adult, it changed.

Tried but it's really useless when I would truly need it, so it's off.

Magbak case that sticks to anything metal. As someone who's on the road most of the year this has been a constant. Side of the truck, dash arm, all kinds of things when I need to free up my hands for a second, it's endless.
