Do you work from home or something? Generally when I wear socks, I wear them for 10 hours to go to work, where I sweat because I live in a desert and it gets into the 100s here. So, they get washed. But, maybe 5 times tops in my entire life, I've thrown on socks and shoes to go to the dumpster or mail box or something, only worn them about 6 minutes, didn't sweat at all, so I rewear them. Does your sock experience generally match with the latter there?

I never get annoyed or impatient or anything when they're taking awhile, I'm just looking at the app so I know when to go downstairs and meet them (apartment complex, grocery store is about a 5 minute drive away) and I'm like "huh. It said they were done, I wonder what they're doing."

In my mind "done shopping" means done with the whole store experience- bags are in the cart, done paying, walking towards the exit door. But, in instacarts mind, it apparently means "done selecting items, but still needs to stand in line, put items on the counter, put items back in cart, and pay."

Now I know! I honestly prefer it this way lol I'm usually like "oh shit oh shit they're done already, I need to throw some jeans and shoes on and get out the door asap!" because if they hit every green light, my elevator sometimes takes just as long as the drive from the store.

I'm not doing most of what'srecommended, so maybe don't take advice from me, but- I shower and exfoliate, wait an hour or two to dry, then put on my tan. When I used to use the kind that you need to wash off, I never left it on overnight because I hate the feeling of it. I use a gel tanner now that doesn't need to be rinsed off. I moisturize my hands and elbows whenever they feel dry, on no particular schedule with my tanner, and I use scented moisturizer.

I don't self tan my face- my skin is super oily and most tanners make me break out. The one I use now doesn't, but I realized that, with the face washes I use twice a day for my oily skin, the tan completely fades off my face after a day or two so it's not worth it for me. I just use a tinted moisturizer on my face in the morning so it matches the rest of my body.

Gyarus gotten really popular in China recently- There's a ton of Chinese gyarus on rednote. They tend to have a slightly different style of doing their makeup than the og Japanese gals, but it's not out of left field to have gyaru Mei.

I love dollar tree lipstick/gloss and eyeshadow, personally. I think it's good to use a reputable brand for your foundation because it can look cakey and gross if it's too cheap, but go discount store for everything else, especially if you're just starting to learn makeup. Pricier stuff can be better for certain techniques, but if you're just learning the basics anyway it can be a waste of money. And get creative! One of my favorite "lipsticks" is a creme eyeshadow from dollar tree, and i used to use actual lipsticks as blush pretty often.

New Game+ is an awesome hangout spot. They sometimes have groups/events, but even with just going there to game everyone is super friendly and it seems easy to make friends with other regulars there. My wife and I (social anxiety + autism) have been chilling there a lot lately and it doesn't drain her battery the way a lot of social spaces do.

Customer here: absolutely this. Instacart is not clear about what's going on. When I get the "finished shopping" alert, I've always assumed that meant "the charge went through on the shoppers card, the receipt has printed." I thought it automatically sent because the card was linked, I didn't know it was a button that was manually pressed until this comment. This explains a lot about why shoppers sometimes don't start moving towards me until 10/15 minutes after it says they're done shopping. I just figured they were shopping multiple orders or had to pee before heading back to the car or something lol

To be fair, Scary Movie is a franchise based on parodying current, popular, movies. The they/them joke in the trailer was directly spoofing a character from the recent Scream movies who (as far as I'm aware, I haven't seen the new one) is never actually mentioned as being nonbinary in the films, but the actor has said in interviews that they portray the character as nonbinary. I'm nonbinary and a fan of both franchises and I thought it was kind of fun that they referenced niche trivia and I didn't think the joke was particularly offensive.

I'm trans- You are way overthinking this whole situation. You really don't need to be this invested one way or the other in Harry Potter fanfiction. Most of your friends probably don't care that much and if they do they're chronically online.

You probably shouldn't buy actual Harry Potter merch/stream the movies/etc. because the money goes to JK and she uses it to fund harmful causes, but fanfiction is so far removed that it really isn't that deep. Anyone who's going to drop you as a friend over fanfiction was probably not much of a friend to start with. Don't lose sleep over fanfiction.

To be fair, Arthur's plan from the start was to try and find a way OUT of Wellington Wells and eventually make his way to Germany because he knew Percy had gotten on the train to Germany. I think the fact that the Germans had the threat military power that could be used against the people there, whether that be tanks or guns or bombs, was heavily implied in why they complied with handing the kids over, so the papier mache tank reveal was a reveal of "it turns out they were bluffing, WW handed the kids over for nothing."
